…..

I was looking forward to meeting Chris Jericho and getting a photo with him his autograph on my WWE world title belt.
I wasn't sure if the employees at borders would allow me to get my belt signed or if they were going to have Chris Jericho sign only his books but after talking with several employees they mentioned to me that they knew alot of people probably wanted some memorabilia signed by him as well and for each book purchased we could have one item signed so that was VERY cool of them.
It's not everyday that you get to meet the first UNDISPUTED world heavyweight wrestling champion.
After buying his book I was given a red wristband to signify that I was in the first group of 100 to meet him, and without a red wristband you can NOT have anything signed or even meet him to get a photo. that stops people from cutting in line or calling 10 or 12 of they're friends to join them in line...I hope more autograph signings decide to take care of that particular problem )..anyways.. The signing started at 7pm right on time and I'd guesstimate that about 300-350 people showed up that I saw.
He walked out from the back of the store and greeted us, he mentioned that he was glad to see us all and that he found out that his book is number 22 on the new york times best seller list. The crowd cheered for him.
He said that he would be happy to pose for pictures with us and sign what we had brought for him.
He joked a bit with the crowd and he said that he would do whatever we wanted him to do like washing our cars or doing laundry or cleaning our rooms, and alot of people in line shouted for him to please go back to wrestling and save us.
Everyone seemed to be in a good mood, I was first in line and he asked me how I was doing and if I had been waiting a long time, I said I was fine and shook his hand, he invited me to sit down next to him behind the table and I gave him his birthday card that I my son and I bought for him for his 37th birthday ( Nov 9th) and he signed my book and my wwe world title belt as well.
He is both professional and friendly and I very much enjoyed meeting him and encourage anyone reading this that is a fan of pro wrestling to meet him if you get the opportunity to.
There is only one man to ever beat the rock and stone cold Steve Austin on the same night to become the undisputed world heavyweight wrestling champion.
Here are 2 photos that were taken, also a big thanks to the borders bookstore staff for being so professional, friendly and handling those people that try to cut in line by handing out wristbands. Very smart move.
All in all a very good night.
