The casting crew of the upcoming independent movie 'The Wrestler' were at Afa The Wild Samoan's Gym in Pennsylvania in the afternoon, and last night backstage at the Ring of Honor show at the Manhattan Center, including Nicolas Cage.
Shooting should be starting soon. Many wrestlers will be in the film, and Nicolas Cage will be taking wrestling lessons.

Darren Aronofsky's Protozoa Pictures is developing the project and is directing, which will be the story about an 80s wrestling star Randy "The Ram" Robinson, who turns to drugs and has a career ending heart attack in the middle of the ring. He takes a job at a deli and lives a normal life, but the lure of wrestling proves too much and he risks his life to make a comeback.
