RON SIMMONS SIGNING REPORT

In continuing with a great weekend of signings we packed up the car and headed up to Poughkeepsie NY for the scheduled Ron Simmons Christy Hemme auto session on Sunday at The Collectors Realm. I always enjoy signings at Collectors Realm because it is very well organized. When we arrived we went in to the store and purchased our auto tickets for Ron Simmons. Being we just met Christy Hemme Friday at Turnbuckle in LI we didn't need any more autos from Christy just Ron. Anyway after purchasing our tickets we went outside and waited on line for about twenty minutes chatting with other wrestling fans until the signing began. When it was our turn we were led into another building and up stairs to where Ron and Christy were. Ron was on one side of the room and Christy on the other. Ron greeted us and was in very good spirits. He was very friendly as he signed my items. One item being a replica of the 1991 WCW belt he wore during his championship stint. He really enjoyed seeing the belt and talked a little about his WCW run which had everyone listening in on. He thought the WCW people could have done more with him as champ, cant agree more. He chatted with Taylor a bit as he signed the rest of our items. After taking our Polaroid with him I thanked him for his contributions to wrestling and we shook hands and said our goodbyes. I must take a moment to thank all the staff over at Collectors Realm for putting on another fantastic signing. The signings just keep getting better and better each time. I look forward to the next one.
