Great Championship Wrestling results from Phenix City, AL, on July 28: Frankie Valentine & Jonathan Davis over Randall Johnson & Ruben James; Thug Rowe over Amien Rios; David Young over Johnny Swinger; Chris Stevens over Bull Buchanan; Luke Robinson Michaels over Scotty Beach, Shaun Banks, and A.J. Steele by disqualification in a fatal four-way match.
It was reported that attendance was approximately 150. Deathrow was arrested after charging the ring and attacking all four men at the end of the match between Valentine & Davis and Johnson & James. Quentin Michaels attempted to interfere in the match between Young and Swinger, and Swinger then interfered in the bout between Stevens and Buchanan. Michaels was declared the winner of the four-way when Beach was disqualified for hitting him with a chair.
The next card is set for August 4, with the following matches announced: Johnny Swinger versus Bull Buchanan, with Quentin Michaels as special guest referee); David Young & Chris Stevens versus Shaun Banks & Luke Robinson Michaels; and A.J. Steele versus Deathrow.
