In defense of Ted DiBiase's "no show" in San Diego at ComicCon, this appearance was listed nowhere on his schedule at his official website. There may have been a micommunication or it may have been Virgil just working the promoters that DiBiase would be there. From what I was told by DiBiase's manager at another appearance by Ted, when asked "Where's Virgil?", "We don't know and we don't want him here." In the last year I've seen Ted twice and Virgil once, but never at the same engagement. Ted is scheduled for the NWA Legends convention in Charlotte in August but there is no Virgil (thankfully). There may be some ill feelings between the two, but I dont know that for sure.

I have also learned that Virgil has told some promoters both he and Ted will appear, without Ted even knowing about it.  Then promoters believe him, and list both signings on their sites.

It's a shame things like this happen.

I will check more carefully with Ted from now on, to make sure all the signings listed on our site are legit.
