Hailz!! What a week it has been here in NYC. I got to see alot of my old friends and do alot of signings as well. I was rushed to finish my column for Rock City News like asap-arghhhhhh. I went to see Knocked Up (trust me, I would have rather seen Hostel 2), the only funny part of this movie is what a jackass the guy was. I am going to see the Red Chord tonite & get some interviews at the show & shot alo of promos for the metal scene tv show . We air the Metal Scene Tv show in NY (allboroughs and upstate ) and NJ in September. I wil be shooting some behind the scenes "making of a Music Video" tomorrow for "Through the Eyes of the Dead" and Ill post the stuff here on the site. I wish that Blabbermouth would help us out & post these cool little things that we add to the site ,but for some odd reason, they never do-whatever. I was disturbed this week to learn that an old acquaintance from my wrestling days had murdered his wife & kid & then hung himself. Let this be an example of who the real killer is : the WWE. I am not excusing what Chris Benoit did to his family as being ok, but all I am doing is pointing out to how awful alot of thse guys have it emotionally at the WWE. Not only is there an excruciating schedule for work,but the pressure to be "big". Vince Mc Mahon does not put the steriod needle in you, but he sure does put the pressure on his wrestlers to be "big" and if they can't get to that size, he has no use for them. Most ofthese guys know nothing but wrestling. I hope that someone takes down the WWE this time. It was a well known fact that Chris Benoit had asked for some time off & he should have been granted that. But, then again, Vince is known for being very uncaring when it come to things like that. Look at the exmaple of Owen Hart. Back at the PPV in 1999, Owen had "concerns" about performing a stunt which entailed him flying across the arena on some type of contraption that would support him and did not feel comfortable. Vince's reply was : do you want to keep your job'? Hours later, the contraption failed & Owen Hart tracigally fell to his death leaving his wife, kids (1 was 3 months old) and family behnd. What a shame. The reason I am in the know abut these things is through a lawyer who works for someone at the WWE I am still in shock about what happened. sometimes, no amount of money in the world means that someone is doing okay-maybe ok financially,but not emotionally . Adding all types of painkillers & steriods to the mix does not help as well. Onto happier thoughts, it was great seeing my friends here. I got hang out with Terrence Hobbs last week . I went to check out a bar called Duff's in Brooklyn. I met a few cool people there and 1 dickface (there are always those around unfortunately). It was a kind of cool hangout. Then again, I am not a fan of bars since all good for is unecessary bullshit. In any case, I gotta get ready to head out to Long Island for thse interviews.
