One of Fusion’s own now training in OVW…

FUSION PRO WRESTLING - MILE HIGH EVENT CENTER - COMMERCE CITY, CO. - July 14, 2007

Before start of the show APWA head trainer Jeff McAllister walked into the ring followed by the FPW roster standing around ring. He spoke to the fans regarding the Chris Benoit tragedy. Jeff said Chris had been a role model to all as a husband, father, friend, pro wrestler and was a "wrestling brother".

Jeff decided to give a 3-bell salute in honor of Chris Benoit and Family remembering who he was BEFORE June 22. Jeff told the audience if they wanted to stand that was fine but if they didn't wish to that was ok.

Everybody stood as the bell tolled 3 times with many crying. While this salute was controversial, I applaud the courage to do it. When I told Tom Burke about it, his comment was: "That was class!" And, class is what FUSION and APWA are about!

RESULTS - Referee Pat Cesare, one of the very best anywhere!

Aimee Williams beat Danae with a roll-up....Dustin Uhrich beat Jason Noel with an elbow drop and cradle....Stonedifirious beat Hollywood JDT after a flying body press.

Erik Angel made quite an impression in his Fusion debut and was over with the fans.He lost to the veteran Tommy Bouchett via a roll-up....In a handicap match, "The One and Only" Billy V beat "Your Idol" Jack Midicol  and Mercury Matt Yaden. Billy pinned Yaden.

In a very interesting match we saw heel and face as partners. This proved an exciting event. Fusion champ Duff Doyle paired with Jeff McAllister against Juntsu and Paul Diamond. This was action in and outside the ring! Allister pinned Juntsu.

NOTES: Jeff McAllister flies into Arizona end of July to once again work WWE shows. You can see him in action on a recent "Heat" by going to fusionprowrestling.com.

Congratulations are in order to Fusion's own Reggie Styles. She is now training with OVW. You go, girl!

Next show will be August 4th followed by Sept. 8, Oct.  6, Nov. 3 and Dec. 1.
