WWC RESULTS FROM LAST NIGHT IN PUERTO RICO
CARLITO VS. SCOTT "RAZOR RAMON" HALL -- IT HAPPENED LAST NIGHT (AND MORE) ...
Thanks to Dominick Valenti as per Manny Gonzalez:

The WWC held their main show of their ANIVERSARIO 2007 tour at the Jose Miguel Agrelot Coliseum at San Juan with a crowd estimated close to 4500 to 5000 fans. Events that took place there were as follow:

Show started at 8:50 PM

Alejandro Rodil and Stacey Colón welcomed fans to the show. Then they introduced famed singer Michael Stuart, who sang the United States and the Puerto Rico National Anthems

Ernesto ‘Cano’ Muñiz came and introduced the show and the first match.

1-Big Vito defeated Joey Mercury in 7:45 with a spinning DDT. Basically a good opener due to Vito’s comic tactics due to he using the famed dress he used in his WWE stint.

2-Barrabás Jr. & Crazy Rudy defeated Huracán Castillo & Rico Suave in 11:02. The first 4:09 were outside brawl that ended with all 4 wrestlers bleeding. Final came when Barrabás Jr. used the blackjack on Castillo to score the pinfall victory. Castillo was cheered during the match several times. It was a wild brawl with the prematch stipulation that everything goes.

Two rappers, Virus and Shorty, sang a song and were heavily booed. They were introduced as being presented by La Mega, a radio station.

3-In what was definitively the best match of the show, and the only one that deserved to be watched, Eddie Colón wrestled TNA’s Christian into a double countout in 16:14. At 7:04 there was a slam on the outside concrete on Eddie. Later they continued the great match (said to be better that the Edge vs. Angle match in Puerto Rico 6 weeks earlier). At 14:22 Edge did his unprettier move, but Eddie kicked almost at the three count. A great match that saw fans cheering Christian until he took the microphone and worked the crowd against him.

4-Carlos Colón & Barrabás defeated Victor Jovica & José Estrada in 9:22. At 8:22 Barrabas extracted powder and when he was about to blind Estrada, who was being held by Carlos, Estrada ducked and Barrabas accidentally blinded Carlos. But since referee was knocked earlier, Carlos managed the situation and low blowed Estrada when Estrada was about to end Barrabás, that makes Barrabás pinning Estrada for the win.

5-Apollo defeated Goldust to retain the Universal Title in 7:03 after doing the rock buttom. Apollo came with Mr. Casanova as his manager.

6-There came the 20 Wrestlers Battle Royal, with $10000 for thw winner and the winner earning  a match to wrestle for any title in the promotion. Participants were Christian D’Jour, Mark D’Jour (seems that the twins have changed their names), BJ, Hammett, Los Adorables, Fidel Sierra, Ricky Santana, Voodoman, Chris Joel, Noriega, Jessie The Latin Freebird, Black Thunder, Rick Stanley, Ash Rubinsky, Slam Shady, Lord William de la Vega and others that I do not remember. Last 4 were Noriega, Chris Joel, Ricky Santana and Fidel Sierra. Then Joel was eliminated leaving Noriega against Sierra and Santana. Finally Noriega was aliminated, leaving Santana and Sierra in the ring. When Fantasy was close to the ring so presuming that Sierra and Santana was won, the masked wrestlers that has been appeared in several house shows came in and attacked Sierra and Santana, until finally eliminating the cubans and were proclaimed as winners. Then Rico Suave came and wanted to welcome them to the Poder Supremo group. Then, for the surprise of the fans El Profe came to the ring. Then he told Suave that in effect his guys (which I believe one is one of the WWS’s SPF) are there to destroy the Justice Army, but added that they were there to destroy also the Poder Supremo group. When Profe ordered them to attack Suave, Suave left.

7-In a retirement & mask vs. retirement match, Bronco defeated Fireblaze to win the mask of Fireblaze. Good match but not as expected. Final came when at referee was knocked and then at 11:37 a masked wrestler (believed to be Apollo, as on TV Apollo owns a favor to Bronco) came in and did a sidekick on Fireblaze, so Bronco did a cover and referee did a count and all ended at 12:03. Bronco took the microphone (something he did earlier to create heat on fans) and asked the referee to unmask Fireblaze, but Fireblaze did it by himself and unmasked at 14:38 to reveal his already known identity, Orlando Colón.

There came the tribute to Abdullah The Butcher. El Profe, Barrabas and Joe Don Smith have short words on Abdullah’s career in Puerto Rico, as they were his manager at some point of their carrrer. Hugo Savinovich is also his best known manager. As Abdullah had a previous commitment, he sent a video where his actual manager spoke.

8-Sabu defeated Abyss in 8:01 when he did a top rope guillotine with a chair on Abyss who was kneed on a table. An extreme rules match that saw Sabu, with a short wide pant as seems he lost his wrestling clothes, trying to do the best moves to make fans into the match. Sabu bleeded earlier in the match.

9-Thunder & Lightning defeated Black Pain & Bryan in 9:52 when they applied a 3D on Bryan. I was surprise to see the final, not for T&L winning, but for Bryan doing the job as he is about to be pushed, but I saw that in a ropes clotheline that Thunder applied to Black Pain, seems that Pain landed wrong and keep himself outside the match and was badly limping after the match, so I pressume a knee injury may ocurred in the match.

10-In the main event of the night, Carlito defeated Razor Ramon in 8:46. Surprisingly, Hall came in better shape than expected and worked good in the match. Both Apollo and Casanova were outside the ring watching the match. When Ramon was about to do the Razor’s Edge on Carlito, Apollo came into the match at 8:33, reversed the move pulling Carlito by the foot and then applied a sidekick to Hall, told Carlito to do the pin and then Carlito did the back stabber to score the victory.
