Highlights of the Press Conference at 3 PM.
District Attorney Scott Ballard thought it was bizarre that so much time had elapsed between each killing and suicide. He was amiss that anyone would want to kill a 7 yr old boy.
Both Nancy and Daniel Benoit died by asphyxiation. Nancy's wrists and feet were bound, and there was some blood near her body. Nancy's body was found in an office/family area. Nancy had a bible next to her. A towel was wrapped around her.
Little innocent 7 year old Daniel was found in his own bed with a bible next to him.
According to authorities, Benoit did not leave a suicide note. The police have a motive but chose not to go into it.
The doctors figure he was dead no more than one day before being found.
Steroids and legal drugs were found in the house. Many reporters on various cable news stations are saying that 'roid rage could possibly be the cause here. It will be a few weeks before all reports are in.
Chris used the rope from his weight machine to kill himself in the basement.
Benoit was previously arrested for a DUI.
In 2003, a temporary restraining order was sought but later dropped.
It will probably take more than two weeks for the reports to be finished.
Benoit apparently called WWE stating that Daniel was coughing up
blood, thus likely the "personal reasons" for missing weekend house shows.

They will not speculate if steroids had anything to do with the death or his state of mind.
They reiterate the time of 2-weeks on toxicology results.

They ended the press conference, saying they had more work in the home to do, no more questions.
Almost all the cable news stations carried the conference, one thing I found odd, one station kept showing Luger and Miss Elizabeth, instead of Chris and Nancy.
This is an extremely sad day for all of us, and one that we will not forget quickly.
I have been told by a few reliable sources that Chris had asked for some personal time off but was denied. If this is true, could it have helped, if he was given the time off.
