….

We the Road Warriors first met Chris Benoit in 1986 or about that time he was working with All Japan Pro Wrestling and we were doing shots for them also. He was a very nice guy with the ultimate respect not only for the "top guys" but for the business as well. He had great teachers, not only the British Bulldogs but Bret Hart and the Hart family, to learn his craft. WOW the Dungeon.
After the first meeting we knew that someday this guy was destined for greatness.
As I got to know Chris over the years I grew to see that he was a mans man. What I mean by that, he was tough, gave 100% always and he also could let his guard down and love his family. So naturally I took to Chris right away having the same principles. Like Chris never missing those important needed workouts to stay on the top.
I saw Chris at some of his more precious moments with his family, Daniel and Nancy mostly and as Daniel was sitting on my lap at a Pay Per View I looked over at Chris and said "Chris he is Beautiful" he smiled with that tooth missing and said thanks Joe I really appreciate it very much. Chris never had a negetive word to say about anyone unless you were a top guy with a "HUGE head" or a "rookie" that needed to be put in line and yes he was famous for kicking guys not worthy of locker rooms do to bad attitudes or just needing a little attitude adjustment.
I know for sure the wrestling business lost one of the best today. Not known for the supreme wrestler that everyone talked about, which is just ratings for the night but as a man with impecable work ethic and family values that we will miss tremendously with all our hearts.
Chris you were always an honorary member of the "L.O.D. Road Warriors" and may you rest in peace and enjoy the pain free sanctity of Heaven.
Please for me, give Hawk a huge hug and say hello to all our fallen Wrestlers that like yourself will and cannot ever be replaced, even though the business tries and tries.  I always said true performers are born not made, we definitely saw the last of "The Rabid Wolverine",
"What A Rush"
God Bless
Animal
