Ring Announcer Adrian introduced King Booker as the guest ring announcer for
the night.
PWA TITLE TOURNAMENT MATCH
SAMSON beat SANTANA by pinfall
--After being overpowered early by the muscular Samson, Santana went after
the strongman's left knee. He enjoyed a brief advantage before Samson came
back and leveled his opponent with a spear for the 1-2-3.
PWA TITLE TOURNAMENT MATCH
NEICO beat MIKE FOXX by pinfall
--Booker said that Foxx was a late entrant into the tournament, but Foxx's
run was short-lived as Neico took everything Foxx gave him and pinned him
with a flying crossbody off the top turnbuckle.
PWA TITLE TOURNAMENT MATCH
STEVE WILLIAMS (not Dr. Death or Steve Austin) beat V.I.P. (w/ M.V.P.)
--M.V.P., V.I.P.'s brother, showed off the WWE United States title belt he
was wearing under his suit jacket. The referee was knocked down, and M.V.P.
gave his brother a chair. After some hesitation, V.I.P. refused to use it,
but that worked against him as Williams gave him a schoolboy rollup for the
win. After the match, M.V.P. asked V.I.P. what was wrong with him, and
V.I.P. said their mama raised them better than that. M.V.P. yelled, "I
raised you!" He then hemmed and hawed out of frustration before smacking
his brother upside the face and storming out. PWA reporter Johnny Bravo
entered the ring and tried to get V.I.P.'s reaction, but V.I.P. dejectedly
walked away.
SPECIAL CHALLENGE MATCH--DAWG RULES
DAWG CHEETUM (w/ Rosa Salvaje) beat CHRIS ADAMS (obviously not the original)
by pinfall
--Dawg Rules meant no disqualification. Rosa interfered several times, but
the last time earned her a forward powerslam from Adams. This, though,
allowed Cheetum to use a chair to flatten Adams and get the pinfall. The
bounty hunter wasn't done, though, as he gave Adams a fisherman DDT onto the
chair and then handcuffed his beaten opponent. Security and staff of H-Town
Bail Bonds, a sponsor of the show, entered the ring to pull Cheetum away,
but he got one more shot in on the still-handcuffed Adams outside the
barricades.
During intermission, WWE Diva Maria and two Hooters Girls entered the ring
to present a special contributor to the Booker T Fights For Kids Foundation
with a chair from WWE Cyber Sunday, a WrestleMania 23 hoodie, and a "The
Condemned" movie t-shirt, as well as a hug.
STEVE DeMARCO & FRANCO VALENTINO beat KRYLL (A.D. & Creet) (w/ Lady Poison)

--Kryll had the experience advatage as a tag team, and they used that
advantage to keep DeMarco away from his corner for much of the match. Kryll
and their manager tried a triple-team maneuver on DeMarco, but Referee Terry
Stephens intercepted Poison before she could execute her part of the move.
When DeMarco finally tagged Valentino in, though, they cranked things up on
the dark duo, finishing off A.D. with a combination wheelbarrow/stunner move
and Valentino getting the pin.
PWA SEMI-MAIN EVENT
2 COLD SCORPIO beat JARED STEELE by pinfall
--Scorpio showed off some nifty acrobatic moves, prompting a chant of "You
still got it." Steele, though, went head-to-head with the veteran and
threatened to win the match on several occasions. However, it was Scorpio
getting the last word when he hit his 450 Scorpio Splash for the 1-2-3.
Prior to the Main Event, Queen Sharmell was presented with a basketball
signed by all of the Houston Comets WNBA team, and a lucky fan won an
autographed Yao Ming poster.
PWA MAIN EVENT
C.M. PUNK beat RICHEY RICH by pinfall
--Rich was accompanied to the ring by a dog named Dollar. Rich used his
speed and power to try to confound the ECW star, but Punk called upon his
experience to maneuver Rich into a face-first drop onto his knee to win the
match.
