The show will also be filled with other local favorites, including Barnegat's former ECW brawler The Equalizer, Little Egg Harbor's Green Dragon, Lacey Township's hometown referee Just Johnny, and Forked River's rising superstar Rhett Titus. Plus fans will also see the Jersey Shore's favorite straight-jacket-wearing wild man Slayer, Japan's Giant Kaibutzi and J.D. Smooth. Tickets are $17 for adults, $15 for children and seniors, and can be purchased by phone at 1-866-888-1704, or online at www.doubleplaytixx.com.

NWS Double-Shot Weekend April 13-14 in Belleville, NJ & Tower City, PA
Two shows... on two consecutive days... in two different states. Sounds impossible? Not for National Wrestling Superstars, who has a streak of running double-shot weekends, and being very successful to boot. Their next doubly-successful weekend is coming up April 13-14.
Friday April 13, NWS will be at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 94 Bridge Street, Belleville, NJ (just off Belleville Avenue) for its "Bad Luck Brawl", with a 7:45pm bell time. And even though former WWE star "America's Hero" The Patriot looks to be the unluckiest of all, in that has to face The Baghdad Bullies, and their manager King Idu Stinq, without his original tag-team partner Vicious Vinny, he promises that his new mystery tag-team partner is one of the hottest wrestling sensations on the East Coast and will bring him good luck. Of course it will also help that in his corner will be the best manager a tag-team could ever have, none other than WWE Hall Of Fame manager Captain Lou Albano.
Besides The Patriot & Captain Lou, the Belleville fans will also get to see an NWS Jersey Shore Title match between high fliers Nicky Oceans and Gil Quest, former WWE hopeful "Too Cocky" Kevin Matthews, Justin Corrino, Dan Marx, and J.D. Smooth.
Tickets for Belleville are $17 for adults and $15 for kids and seniors
Saturday April 14, NWS hits the road (and quite a few miles of it) for its annual show at the Williams Valley High School, 10330 Route 209, Tower City, PA, with a 7:35 pm bell time. Headlining that show is a man big enough to cover New Jersey and Pennsylvania, both in pure size and stature, WWE WrestleMania legend King Kong Bundy.
Also on the show is another former WWE star who's seen a few WrestleMania's himself, Tito Santana. Team Supreme (Nicky Oceans & Corvis Fear) will take on local high-flying favorites Fantastic Maxx & Unbreakable Andy, and indy veteran King Kaluha and a Wrestling Clown will also see action.
Tickets for Tower City are $18 for reserved ringside seats and $14 for bleacher seats
To reserve tickets for either (or both) events call 732-888-1704 or online at www.doubleplaytixx.com.
The BODYSLAM Wrestling Organization returns on Saturday night, April 14th, at The Pioneer Club, on 209 Jefferson Ave in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ with a 7 PM bell time. Three huge title matches have already been signed.
BODYSLAM Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship Match
"Indy Sensation" Corvis Fear (c) vs. "Pro Wrestling's Sickest M'Fer" Chaos
This will be Corvis Fear's biggest title defense to date as he takes on the number one contender, Chaos, in a match that will surely leave both men battered and bruised.
BODYSLAM Wrestling United States Title Match
"The Lone Wolf" Evan Myers (c) vs. "The Modern Day Enforcer" Eric Cooper
Myers makes his first title defense against the one man that has sworn to send him into early retirement, Eric Cooper. These two men hate each other and their recent brawls throughout the building have been memorable as well as brutal.
BODYSLAM Wrestling Tag Team Title Match
Johnny Cockstrong and Soy Boy (c) vs. K-Von and Killian White
In what will be an exciting match, the tag team champions Cockstrong and Soy Boy take on the very formidable team of K-Von and Killian White.
What will La Famila do this month?
After nearly extorting their way to the BWO United States Title last month, Tommy Face has sworn revenge on the BWO and anyone who gets in his or La Familia's way. What wrath will they unleash this month?
Also Scheduled to appear:
Richie Rotten, Jerk Off, Danny Danger, Demetrious Arion, Dr. Callahan, Draven Blaze, Rebecca Payne, Cole Calloway and manny more.
Ten great matches in all plus a Battle Royal.
Tickets available by calling 973-473-1599, by email at [email protected]
Just two weeks to go until Championship Wrestling Experience presents "One Step Closer" live Sunday April 15th at 5 PM at the Jewish Community Center on 505 Gypsy Lane in Youngstown, Ohio. Tickets are $12 in advance at Havana House in Niles, and $15 dollars at the door. $10 children's tickets also available, as well as a special discount for Jewish Community Center members.
In addition to the two huge matches we announced last week, CWE officials are also proud to announce three new, huge matches!
At Vindication, Sterling James Keenan lost a hard fought match to Chris Hero. Afterword, Hero was jumped by Shiima Xion and Larry Sweeney. As this was taking place, SJK just walked away, leaving Hero to fend for himself. Fortunately, Faith in Nothing and the Colony came to make the save. One might heavily question Sterling's motives of walking out on Chris Hero last month, but he has certainly found himself back into the spotlight, as he earns a spot in the CWE Undisputed Title tournament. His opponent, however, in dubious manners, has also earned himself a spot in the tournament. Sunday, April 15th, it will be Sterling James Keenan going up against "Sweet n Sour" Larry Sweeney! This should be a match for the ages, and after all we've seen in the past few months involving these two, theres no telling what might happen.
After a huge victory over Arik Cannon, Claudio Castagnoli comes in to One Step Closer with a man who took on two men at The Dawning. After defeating both Shiima Xion and Marion Fontaine, Jigsaw let the world know of his capabilities. Those capabilities have now led to this, the final of the four matches, in the CWE title tournament. This is a classic mis-match with the monstrous Castagnoli going up against the much smaller, high flying riddle known as Jigsaw.
In our first tag team match for the event, we have two debuting tag teams going up against one another. On one side, you have the New Jersey All Stars, comprised of JC Ryder and Lucky. On the other side you have the Olsen Twins. No not those Olsen Twins. We're talking about Jimmy and Colin. Both teams are making a name for themselves across the country, and on April 15th, they will meet in the middle of a CWE ring!
Also scheduled for the show.
Eddie Kingston v Patrick Hayes, in the first round of the CWE Undisputed Title Tournament.
Chris Hero v Shiima Xion, in the first round of the CWE Undisputed Title Tournament.
Make sure to check this out live Sunday, April 15th at the Jewish Community Center, 505 Gypsy Lane, Youngstown, Ohio at 5 PM. Doors will open at 4PM and tickets are just $12 in advance at Havana House in Niles. They will be $15 at the door, with children's ticket available for $10, and a special discount to Community Center members with ID!

NWS Hosting 8th Annual Chris Candido Memorial Jersey J-Cup Tag-Team Tournament On 4/21 In Manville
Two years ago, pro wrestling tragically lost one of its all-time favorites, Jersey native Chris Candido. On Saturday night April 21, National Wrestling Superstars will pay tribute to their lost friend as part of its (inarguably) biggest event of the year, the 8th Annual Chris Candido Memorial Jersey J-Cup Tournament, at the Manville V.F.W. Hall, 600 Washington Avenue (just off South Main Street), with a 7:35pm bell time.
The original J-Cup Tournament has been run every year since 2000, and has showcased the best and brightest cruiserweight wrestlers in NJ and the surrounding areas. Two years ago, NWS began hosting this event, ironically only two days after Chris Candido passed on, and renamed it in honor of Chris. Past winners, as well as others who shined in the tournament, have gone on to even greater stardom. Starting with the 2000 winner Judas Young, who was just seen on WWE Heat, along with 2001 winner Low Ki and 2003 winner Jay Lethal who are now major stars with TNA Wrestling, and 2005 winner Mike Kruel who wrestled in Ring Of Honor and is now wrestling in WWE's Ohio Valley Wrestling. Other tournament participants whose careers have skyrocketed include C.M. Punk, Colt Cabana, and American Dragon.
This year, the J-Cup Tournament will showcase nine of the area's best cruiserweight wrestlers. They will compete three at a time in three first-round triple-threat matches. The three winners will then compete in a Triple-Threat Falls-Count-Anywhere Elimination Final Match. The scheduled participants include:
- Corvis Fear
- Nicky Oceans
- Deranged
- Gavin Quest
- Rob Eckos
- Billy Reil
- "The Firebird" Jorge Santi
- Minyon
But the action doesn't stop that night with just the tournament. Also on the card, former WWE stars Greg "The Hammer" Valentine and Salvatore Sincere will team up against two of the best big men in business, local favorites "Indian Warrior" Draven and "Ice Pick" Rich Lowinski. To help officiate a match of such epic proportions, NWS is bringing in another former WWE star as a special guest referee, none other than David Sammartino. In addition, another tag-team match will re-unite the NWS 2006 King And Queen Of The Ring, Danny Demanto and Melissa Stripes, as they will attempt to avoid being de-throned by 2006 J-Cup Winner The Grim Reefer & his partner The Lovely Lexus. Tickets for this colossal event are only $18 for adults, $16 for kids and seniors, and can be purchased over the phone at 732-888-1704. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.doubleplaytixx.com.
