The first WWE PPV for 2007 - New Year's Revolution - will be airing for free in the United Kingdom on Sky Sports 1 rather than Sky Box Office. The contract with BSkyB in the UK calls for a couple of PPVs to be aired on one of the Sports channels instead of Box Office where they sell for £14.95 / 21.95 Euros each.

UWF ADDS TALENT FOR DEBUT EVENTS IN WILSON, NC ON FEBRUARY 2nd AND WILMINGTON, NC ON FEBRUARY 3rd
Great tag team action will be on display when the UWF opens its 2007 tour February 2nd and 3rd in Wilson and Wilmington, NC, as Matt Bentley and Frankie Kazarian have been added to the card as well as Ron "The Truth" Killings and Lance Hoyt, who have been teaming together recently in TNA Wrestling.

Converse-Corino Signed For This Sunday!
It can now be confirmed after weeks of negotiations that Ric Converse and Steve Corino will now face each other in less then a week for the AWA World heavyweight championship!
AWA President, Dale R. Gagne sent contracts to both the AWA CWF Mid-Atlantic office, representing Ric Converse and the Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1 office, representing Steve Corino and at 11:30 last night, while many fans were partying for New Years, the signatures needed were placed on the dotted lines.
Although Converse is not happy that the World heavyweight championship match will take place in Corino’s home company he has told WORLD1Wrestling.com that he "owns Corino" and will walk out of Academy Hall THIS SUNDAY still the AWA World heavyweight champion.
This will be the first time Corino will challenge for the AWA World title since he lost the title on January 22, 2006 to Shinjiro Otani in Tokyo, Japan. If Corino does win the title he said that he will take the title on the next tour of Pro Wrestling ZERO1-MAX and would nominate his January 17th match v. Takao Omori and Ikuto Hidaka as his first title defense. No word from First On Stage yet, but the AWA has asked Corino not to make any future plans since he is not the champion.
With less then a week to go this is huge news for WORLD-1 fans.

Mike Kehner Forced To Make A Choice
For over thirteen years Mike Kehner has had the reputation as one of the best referees in the world. Kehner has refereed in over 200 independent companies and even worked Internationally in Japan and China.
What many fans don’t know is that Mike Kehner is a good professional wrestler and as he approaches his 35th birthday in 2007 he has asked Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1 to become a part-time wrestler. In fact, many fans that witnessed the May 7, 2006 say that his match with Nick Burk was the best on the event!
Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1 was quick to issue him a wrestling license for the 2007 year but now Kehner has a problem.
Marcus KING KONG Dowling (We really hate to put it in capitals) has issued a protest with the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission asking them to suspend Mike Kehner for, as Dowling put it "Double Dip" by being a referee and pro-wrestler. Mr. Dowling issued this statement:
"It is ridiculous, immoral, and just plain stupid that Michael Kehner thinks that he can do whatever he wants in WORLD-1. A third rate referee at best, now he wants to be a wrestler? I know that the United States in the land of opportunity but come on? This moron is an embarrassment and a pimple on the rear end of the professional wrestling industry. I will not stand by and let him rob more victories from my men Sweet ‘n’ Sour Larry Sweeney, Impact Eddie Osbourne, and the other guy....Kaluha. That is why I have made Michael "Buttface" Kehner make a choice: Bad referee or bad wrestler."
After hearing about the trouble, Mike Kehner’s long time friend The Patriot wasted no time on picking his replacement partner for the PWF tag team title match this Sunday against King Kaluha and Larry Sweeney making Dowling even madder!
"Dowling is all talk. If Kaluha was smart he would just leave this loser. But the best way to shut him up is take those PWF tag team titles this weekend." The Patriot said.
So going into this Sunday, The Patriot could be helping Mike Kehner win his first professional wrestling title! Could we see be seeing Marcus Dowling cry?
