……

Update on Smackdown in Central GA. sent in by Dave W:
Viewers who tuned into WGNM 64 on Friday night didn't see WWE Friday Night Smckdown.  Rather they saw the announcement of the station going full-time Christian TV programing.  WGNM had split time as a UPN affiliate and a Christian TV station.  But with the pending debut of The CW, WGNM will now be full-time Christian TV.  Which means you can add many areas to those who won't be seeing Smackdown.  WGNM 64 was the UPN affiliate for many cites and small towns in Central GA.  It's also the affiliate for anyone in Central Georgia who subcribes to local channels via DirecTV.
The good news is WBZL TV-14 (which had been simulcast in Macon as the WB affiliate) will be switching to the CW (they've shown promos for the debut and continue to air network programing such as Smallville.)

Smackdown in the Cleveland area:
The CW has not been launched yet and the UPN affiliate in Cleveland WUAB has
already dropped its association with UPN. The soon to be CW affiliate will
be WBNX but WBNX is still airing WB programming. However, WUAB will air
Smackdown on Sunday morning at 1:00 AM in the Cleveland market.
