SUPERSTAR BILLY GRAHAM ADDED TO FANFEST LINEUP!
One of wrestling's all-time great personalities has just been added to the list of featured guests -- 30 of wrestling's greatest heroes and villains -- taking part in this summer's Capitol Wrestling Legends Fanfest near Washington, DC.
Superstar Billy Graham, who defeated Bruno Sammartino for the WWWF World championship almost 30 years ago in nearby Baltimore, will be on hand to sign autographs and take pictures with fans during the three-day weekend of fun -- Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 11-13 -- at the Doubletree Hotel and Executive Meeting Center in Rockville, Maryland.
One of the most colorful and charismatic performers of the 70s and early-1980s, Graham wrestled worldwide in almost every territory, including the big three in the United States: the AWA, NWA and WWWF (the predecessor to WWF and today's WWE.) Renown for his incredible physique, outlandish tye-dye outfits, and rhythmic interviews -- "The man of the hour, man with the power, too sweet to be sour!" -- he inspired a new generation of superstars led by Hulk Hogan, Jesse "The Body" Ventura and the "American Dream" Dusty Rhodes.

The Capitol Wrestling Legends Fanfest is shaping up to be one of the biggest weekends in wrestling history.
