I just received a phone call from the Living Legend, Bruno Sammartino.
Remember we told you about the Bruno Sammartino Special on WPXI-TV on Sunday at 9 PM called “Sammartino: Secrets of a Survivor” for one hour.
Well the station manager, called Bruno today to tell him he had some HUGE news for him.
The #1 show Desperate Housewives on Sunday pulled in a 4.5 rating with an 8.25 share. While the Bruno Sammartino Special pulled in a 6.0 with a 10 share. Even though Desperate Housewives are in reruns now, those numbers are huge.
The station was ecstatic with the numbers and couldn't thank Bruno enough.
I really don't think Bruno realizes how huge that is.

His son Darryl and his wife had a baby boy and have named him Bruno Leopaldo Francesco Sammartino II.
