ECW on SCI FI the most watched show on cable on Tuesday Night.  http://www.variety.com/story.asp?l=story&a=VR1117945265&c=14

Also Tuesday, the premiere of Sci Fi Channel's "ECW" (Extreme Championship Wrestling) averaged a 1.5/4 in 18-49 -- the best for any program on the net this year -- and 3.38 million viewers overall. It was the most-watched cable show of the night.

What this proves to me is that ECW has an extreme cult following, which we knew.  But after all the bad reviews I have read on the Net, will it happen again next week??

I personally hated the show.  It appeared to me as a watered down bad WWE show.  It didn't have the feel of an ECW show at all.
Having zombies and vampires on the show was just plain stupid.
Not showcasing more of a victory celebration for Rob Van Dam made no sense at all.  Even the belt they presented to RVD, appeared cheap.
After a very successful ECW PPV on Sunday, I just felt cheated, as a die hard ECW fan.

I don't expect fire, tables, chairs and barbwire all the time, but I want more of an ECW feel to the show.

If it continues like this, ECW is doomed.

ECW fans are irrate, and won't stand for this type of TV production.  Will they watch again next week, only time will tell.

On a side note, I read that Bill Apter enjoyed the show, I wonder what show Bill was watching......

ECW on Sci Fi drew a 2.7 compiled by Nielsen Media Research.  WWE has to be excited about that number.
