Funk's Corner - Bret Hart, Owen Hart and a New "Kid"

Six months after becoming NWA World Champion, I was making my first trip to Stampede Week in Calgary, Alberta Canada. I was scheduled to wrestle The Mongolian Stomper, Archie Goldie.
After clearing customs and picking up my bags, I was met by 12 year old Bret Hart, Bruce Hart, Dean Hart and Smith Hart at the Calgary Airport. They took me in a black Cadillac Limo to the Hart Mansion located on the side of a large hill with a panoramic view of the city of Calgary.
I met Stu's beautiful wife Helen along with her daughters Ellie, Dianne, Ellison and Georgia who prepared dinner served on a long dining room table with a red tablecloth. Inside the Mansion I was introduced to the rest of the Hart Family Wayne, Keith, Ross and Owen.
As the head of the household, Stu said grace then we enjoyed roast turkey and gravy with all the extras. After dinner I listened to wrestling stories until time to leave for the arena. The pride of the family was the youngest and the only cotton top, Owen Hart.
On the way to the wrestling matches, I thought what a beautiful family and how lucky they were to have them all together.
After arriving at the arena, As I do most of the time, I watched as much of the show as I could. I had heard of the reputation of Billy Robinson and met him for the first time that night. He was wrestling a young kid only 19 years old.
I was surprised as the kid was all Billy Robinson could handle. The kid had a daredevil attitude and was flying all over the ring with leaps from the top rope and spectacular creative wrestling holds I had never seen before. Of course Billy had some great wrestling moves too and prevailed in the match.
After their match during the intermission just before I was to go into the ring I had the opportunity to meet the Kid. His first name was Dynamite.
We have a wrestler in the Funking Conservatory who wrestles in the same style as Dynamite Kid. He is spectacular to watch and innovative in his Daredevil style of wrestling. The new kid's name is Blain Rage.
