BILLY KIDMAN JOINS SCORPIO, SANTANA, SNUKA, VALENTINE AND MORE IN NEW YORK FOR A SPECIAL AFTERNOON EVENT
May 30, 2006 - After a memorable Saturday night in UXW that saw Trent Acid become the first ever Triple Crown Champion, UXW is gearing up for our next event, which is under 3 weeks away, on Sunday afternoon, June 18, 2006 as UXW returns to Long Island and debuts at a new venue, United Skates of America! United Skates of America is located at 1276 Hicksville Road in Seaford, New York. Remember, this is a special afternoon matinee event with doors opening at 1:30 PM and a bell time of 2 PM.

Former WWE and WCW superstar, a man who has held numerous major titles including the WCW Crusierweight, Tag Team, and Crusierweight Tag Team Championships, and the WWE Crusierweight and Tag Team Championship, the master of the shooting star press, BILLY KIDMAN, makes a super rare wrestling appearance as he is set for action on June 18 (and July 29). Kidman will be signing autographs at the C&A Collectibles table at the event.

On May 20, Trent Acid, who going into the match was already the UXW US & Xtreme Champion, won the 8-Ball challenge that included stars such as then champion Raven, Axl Rotten, Balls Mahoney, The Sandman, and Steve Corino to win the UXW Heavyweight Championship and became the first ever UXW Triple Crown Champion! TRENT ACID has promised to be a fighting champion and will take on any and all contenders, and on June 18, he will meet his first challenge when he defends all the gold, the UXW HEAVYWEIGHT and US XTREME CHAMPIONSHIPS against a man who will be making a rare United States wrestling appearance, an international superstar, 2 COLD SCORPIO in this first time ever match-up!
The first ever and longest reigning USA Pro/ UXW Heavyweight Champion will be making his return after several years away from UXW, as TITO SANTANA will return to take on a former WWE Intercontinental Champion, GREG "THE HAMMER" VALENTINE in a LEGENDS MATCH!
Since winning the UXW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP back in November, the team of HAVOK & MONTSA MACK have beat every team that has been put in their path. This past show, Havok had transportation issues, so Mack, like the fighting man he is, defend the tag team gold successfully against the Christopher St. Conn. in what was a handicapped match, even though Havok showed up as Mack went for the cover. The CHRISTOPHER STREET CONNECTION feel they were cheated and distracted, not to mention that they had just fought another match and were not prepared. Just as UXW officials were ready to book a re-match, Antonio Thomas and Romeo Roselli, THE HEARTBREAKERS (formerly The Heart Throbs), called UXW and said they want a shot at the tag team gold to prove they are the "superstars" that they say they are. UXW officials decided to satisfy all parties, and have signed a Triple Threat Match for the UXW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP on June 18 between these three teams. This will not be just a normal triple threat match as it will be NO HOLDS BARRED!
For months, two of UXW’s managerial fixtures, MR. BIG and JOHNNY DIAMOND have been going at one another. On May 20, the two attempted to settle their differences in the ring in a Tuxedo Showdown, which saw Mr. Big come out victorious, but the bad blood will not stop there. A re-match between the two has been set for June 18, this time it will be a special LUMBERJACK MATCH!
