ECW tickets on sale, Meet & Greet, new wrestling book out, Pro Wrestling Radio tomorrow, TNA, Smackdown and more…

First I want to wish everyone a Happy Memorial Day Weekend.....

For everyone asking when are the ECW tickets going on sale for the new  Alhambra Arena show on June 24th???
And the answer is:  They will be on sale the day after the ECW PPV One Night Stand,  June 12th.  And I'm sure those tickets will sell out QUICKLY !!!

Many web sites have stated that the following ECW house show is scheduled for June 25th at the Court Time Sports Center in Elizabeth, PA.  Court Time Sports Center
From the word I am getting, that show is not a 100% done deal YET.
You can see the listing says. ECW Wrestling "TENTATIVE" !!!
My suggestion is to call the WWE offices and let them know you want your "ECW", it should help getting more ECW shows in the future.  Let them know how high the interest is on the return of ECW.  Call Titan Towers @  203-352-8600.

Christian, Jerry "The King" Lawler, Tommy Dreamer, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Abyss and Romeo of The Heart Trobs will be signing autographs and taking pictures with the fans at a special meet and greet at the NFA High School, Fullerton Avenue, Newburgh, NY on Thursday June 1st from 530 pm-730 pm.   They will all be wrestling on a show in the same location later on that night.  For more information email [email protected] or visit www.northeastwrestling.com or call 914-805-6187.

Thanks to Andy Cohen for this info.  Although it comes as no surprise.....
In what is the most obvious move of the year, Rob Van Dam's profile has been added to the ECW.com web site.

That's the sort of thing you might expect on a pro wrestling series by the Sci-Fi Channel. But what fans are really going to get this summer is the return of Extreme Championship Wrestling, courtesy of Vince McMahon.

Hi Georgiann.
I just read your article on WrestlingFigs.com where you mentioned the passing of "Cowboy" Bob Yuma.  I wanted to drop you a quick note and thank you for mentioning him.  Bob was a great man and was one of my very best friends.  He truly was a class act all the way around.  He didn't have the ego that a lot of wrestlers get.  His goal was to always
put over his crew.  That was the main reason he started doing the annual "Old Timers" reunion and  had me start the Arizona Wrestling Legends website (www.AZWL.org  or www.AZWrestlingLegends.com ) a few years ago.
It wasn't so much for him, but he wanted to see his friends get the attention he thought they deserved.
Bob was 55 when he passed away.  I went to the hospital twice during his final few days and I can tell you it was absolutely heart-breaking to see this great man struggling so hard just to draw a breath.  He was way to young to go out that way.  At least now, his suffering is over.
We're having a memorial gathering for him on Sunday.  That will be nice.   He was my hero and my friend and I miss him a lot.
Thanks again, Georgie, for taking the time to mention "Cowboy" Bob.  I sincerely appreciate it.
Take care and God bless.  Tim Hicks
