Sources close to both parties said WWE would resurrect its Extreme Championship Wrestling brand to launch a new one-hour series on the NBC Universal-owned network.
Sci Fi sister service USA Network currently airs WWE programming on Monday nights. The show, WWE Monday Night Raw, consistently ranks among the medium’s top-rated shows.
Representatives for both Sci Fi and WWE would not comment on the matter.
WWE.com has video online of Shawn Michaels injury last night. Shawn has been having problems with his knee for a few weeks. WWE will update later on MRI results taken today.

From Bob: Some really nice photo's of Stacy Keibler @ the Break Up Los Angeles Premiere yesterday: Item Listing
Sent in by Bob: Kane appeared at the Horror Movie Convention in Cherry Hill, NJ at the Hilton Hotel and had a huge line of fans waiting to meet Kane for about one hour and 1/2. He was very cordial and he never charged for his autographs. Most all of the celebrities were charging $20 each.
Andy Cohen has informed us that www.ECW.com has been totally updated. Lots of profiles, previews of the two matches already announced.
Last night on RAW, two matches were set up:
Rob Van Dam vs. John Cena
Tommy Dreamer & Terry Funk vs. Mick Foley & Edge
This was sent in by Robert Clair of Odessa, Florida:
Raw was excellent, in some ways better than the Judgment Day PPV last night. HHH's slow turn is so obvious, but it's being done on a weekly basis with a new twist every week, very much like Austin vs McMahon, but Vince always goes back to that formula. It's been so long now, it's working. The open of the show, with Foley and Edge almost fighting but being co-champion was great. The slimmed down Paul Heyman doesn't miss a beat, does he? Heyman has such an energy, you can see why people can get swept up in what he says. Excellent promo by Heyman, and a better showing this week from Dreamer and Funk, although Funk almost took a header going down the ramp. Is Torrie Wilson the sexiest woman in the world or what? Why is Stacy Keibler on the cover of Stuff and these magazines when Torrie has that blonde goddess thing going on, and she has the best body of anyone on tv. Torrie blows Pam Anderson away.
This letter was sent to me by my friend John Pantozzi about the Pro Hall of Fame Weekend:
Dear Georgie, I just read an entry sent in to you by Mike Informer from Slam wrestling, and I would like to submit a true majority opinion of the weekend. I think the writer might be playing the part of the Canadian heel for reasons unknown to me. Friday evening in Amsterdam NY started off with a great old time wrestling show put on by Hillbilly Cousin Luke. The crowd of between 300-400 was loud and very into it. They had 5 or 6 bouts including the midgets, the girls, a tag team match and a championship match. As far as I could see, everyone went home happy. On Saturday at the Best Western Hotel, they had a collectors convention where many of the wrestlers appearing came through to chat, take pictures and sign autographs. Then they had the official meet and greet session where you could get as many autographs as you wanted along with photos etc.... This was scheduled for one hour but ran over 2 hours because of the huge crowd lined up to see their favorite "old timers". The Inductions banquet At St. Mary's started at 6 PM. St. Mary's was virtually the only venue in the small town that could hold the 300+ crowd. All the wrestlers were extremely friendly. The food at the dinner was terrific and the catering staff deserves high marks for their courtesy, promptness, etc. The total speech time was shorter than most years. The Hall did the right thing by giving 95% of the microphone time to the wrestlers. Who would not love hearing stories told be Fabulous Moolah, JJ Dillon, Nick Bockwinkel, The Destroyer, etc, etc. etc .... From where I was sitting, I could hear everyone as clear as a bell. I heard no one complain about anything, and I was soliciting opinions from many, many people. There actually was nothing to complain about. For the writer in Canada to point out that certain wrestlers did not attend was unfair. If a wrestler is in the financial situation where he has to take a paid booking, what business is it for a fan who is privy to this information to reveal it to the public via an internet article? The 2006 PWHF event was excellent in every respect. The bottom line is this - no one asked for a refund, including the disgruntled writer.
Blackball'd Wrestling Organization returned to Phoenixville 5/20/06 for Spring Cleaning.

Commissioner Cody out and talks about the 3 matches for the BWO heavyweight title. Contestants are Teddy Fine, JT Moses, CJ
O'Doyle, Danny Rose, Greg Matthews and Rockin Rebel. Winners will go to next show for a 3 way match.
4)Norm the Barfly/Angus the Caveman/Kid Kaos over Draven/Dark Angel/Korpse.
5) BWO Tag Team Championships - Salvation 2K6 (Judas Gray & Mike Brown) retained the tag titles over Pelle Primeau/Eric Matlock. Post match Matlock goes off on Pelle. Results in a submission match in July.
6) BWO Interstate Championship- Maverick NEW INTERSTATE CHAMP over Dr. Spider.
Instead of a regular intermission, Maverick and Sgt. Smith come out and say that Rockin Rebel has stopped the musical chairs because of the complaints of sugared up kids he kept getting. They decide they're going to do it anyway. Rebel comes out and plays Grinch. Needless to say, Maverick and Sgt. get the upper hand and they have the infamous musical chairs.
7) Rockin Rebel over CJ O'Doyle to become the first man in the 3 way match in June.
8) JT Moses over Teddy Fine to become the second man in the 3 way match.
9) Rebecca Payne v Autumn Breeze ends in no contest - Salvation 2K6 break up the match. Lockerroom comes out. Cody takes JT Moses' win away, and makes women's matches for the three of them next month.
10) Danny Rose over Greg Matthews to become the last man in the 3 way match (now a regular 2 man match)Rebel comes out and beats on Danny and tells him that just a taste of what he'll get next month
