Funk's Corner - Legend's Reunion for Real

At 2:30 in the afternoon Marti and I had lunch with The Claw and a new Funking Conservatory student, Sage Hilton. Sage was trained originally by Nelson Royal, a friend passed on who I had my second wrestling match ever with in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
I pushed back my seat in the Hard Rock Cafe and looked above our table. We were seated below three stained glass images of Elvis Prestly, Chuck Berry and Jerry Lee Lewis.
I thought about their hits, School Days, Jail House Rock and Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin On and remembered Jeff Jarrett's Father, Jerry Jarrett and how excited he was to let me know that in Nashville, Tennessee, he was going to book one of the first ever combination wrestling and country rock shows when I would be the main event defending the NWA World Championship sharing billing with "The Killer" Jerry Lee Lewis.
Rock 'n Roll was playing in the background and we were with friends. It was just plain fun. Tonight, Bruno Sammartino was going to be in my corner, Eddie Graham's son, Mike was my partner and we were facing "The Horsemen, Flair and Blanchard with the best of all managers, J. J. Dillon.
I thought, If we are going to do nostalgia this is the best.
My sincerest thanks to Jimmy Hart, Sal Corrente and all who worked so hard to bring World Wrestling Legends to fruition.
