WWE Raw was at the McKenzie Arena In Chattanooga, TN on Saturday night before a crowd of 2500-3000 and here are the results.
Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch b Viscera & Val Venis when Cade pinned big Vis with the help of Murdoch who held the big man's feet down so he could not kick out.
Chavo Guerrero b Tyson Tomko with the frog plash. Lots of Eddie chants during this match.
Bra & Panties match
Trish Stratus & Mickie James b Candice Michelle & Victoria When Trish stripped Michelle down to he undies. After the match James tried to get friendly with Trish but she blew her off.
Next Matt Striker came out and introduced his guest Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat. Striker attempted to run Steamboat down by calling him old and a few other things. Finally the Dragon had enough and chopped the heck out of Striker and ran him off.
In a 4 on 2 match. Kane & Big Show beat 4 members of the Spirit Squad. This was pretty much a squash as the tag champs dominated there smaller opponents.
Shelton Benjamin b Rob Van Dam to keep the IC title. Shelton got the mike at first and told the crowd he was not a mamas boy which made the crowd chant that he was. Very good match with lots of action. Benjamin got the pin by reversing a top rope flying body press and putting his feet on the ropes. Post match saw RVD goad the champ back in the ring and he ending up giving him the 5 star frog splash.
Ric Flair & Shawn Michaels b Carlito and Chris Masters when HBK pinned Masters with a sweet chin music when Masters failed to apply the masterlock. Match was ok but they seemed like they were all going in slow motion especially Flair. The heels could not get along at all during this match.
John Cena b Edge w/Lita to keep the WWE title. This was the match the fans came to see as they were into it from start to finish. Cena was over big time with the crowd however I did hear a few boos but they were drowned out. Edge pulled out all the stops trying to win the belt but the champ hung in there. After a ref bump Edge almost got a 3 count when a second ref came in but Cena kicked out.
After the second ref got speared by Edge, Lita got hold of the WWE belt and gave it to her man who used it on the champ but once again Cena kicked out at two. Finally it was Lita again trying to interfere but this time it backfired and Cena then used the FU on Edge to get the victory
All in all a good show lasting 2 hours and 35 minutes.
