Championship Wrestling's 2nd Year Anniversary Supershow will take place in Kingsport, TN at the Civic Auditorium ONE WEEK FROM TODAY (Friday, March 3, 2006). Doors open at 7 PM, there will be a special Pre-Show at 7:30 PM. Bell time will be at 8:00 PM.
Championship Wrestling hasn't had an official event in our home base of Kingsport, TN since Oct. 2005. Championship Wrestling returns home to a new venue (The Civic Auditorium) for a celebration 2 years in the making.

Impact Zone Wrestling returns to The Sets in Tempe, AZ this Tuesday night February 28th with a very special Tag Team Marathon Tournament for the IZW Tag Team Championship. Current Champions Ryan Lynch and David Taylor will have their hands full when they take part in this IZW first. The Board of directors came up with this marathon entitled IZW Tag-Team Tiki. This tournament will give an opportunity to a variety of tag teams to receive a shot at the Championship. Various teams have been in contact with the board of directors to explain why they should receive a spot in the tournament. The teams have been chosen and these are the guidelines.
*Six teams will compete and one team will be victorious.
*Two teams will begin and continue to wrestle until one team is defeated.
*As each team is defeated, a new team will enter.
*This will continue until five teams have been defeated.
*The last team standing will be the IZW Tag Team Champions.
*The entrance of each team will be determined by blind draw
There are lots of rumors circulating about who some of the possible tag teams may be competing next week. While it's safe to assume established IZW tag-teams such as Sheik got Paid will be involved, we may see some former IZW competitors returning to get their hands on the gold.
At last week's event, Peter Goodman crashed the wedding ceremony between Cowboy Jack Durango and his now wife, Adrenelyn. What will Durango have to say, and will Goodman show up to find out?
The Bad Seed Shawn Osborne felt cheated after former WWE Women's Champion Molly Holly gave a fast 3 count in his title match last week with XXX Lawrence Tyler. Will XXX give The Bad Seed a rematch?

PRO WRESTLING FUND-RAISER COMES TO EAST WINDSOR, SATURDAY MARCH 4th
An all-star cavalcade of wrestling superstars will donate their talent along with the M.H. Kreps Middle School for a huge pro wrestling fund-raiser to benefit the Jamie Forkin Fight Hodgkin’s Disease Fund on Saturday night, March 4th at 7:35pm at the Kreps Gym 5 Kent Lane.
Jamie is a local 20 year Hightstown High School graduate in need of a miracle of sorts and the good folks at National Wrestling Superstars, the nation's acknowledged leader in family-themed pro wresting attractions have leant their expertise to try to lessen some of the financial burden on the Forkin Family.
Just some of the T.V. superstars looking to help out are former WWE legend The Patriot and ECW Icon John "Balls" Mahoney plus many more ring notables like Shane Taylor, Z-Barr, Nicky Oceans and more. Tickets are priced at only $15 ringside and $12 bleachers and all proceeds go to the Forkin Fund-Raiser.

DCW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: STREET FIGHT!

~At "A New Testament" The Gemini Trojan's open challenge was accepted by a new team in DCW, The Krash Krew. It was in this match that the Trojans had finally found themselves fighting not only to keep their titles but for their own well being as well. There was no winner declared in this contest as both teams brawled beyond DCW Senior Referee Daryl Lankford's control. Because of this, DCW has signed both teams in a non-sanctioned STREET FIGHT to take place in the main event at FIRE AT WILL this coming Saturday night! The Trojans have been quoted as saying that the time for talking and posing is done. The Krash Krew are simply on the scene to prove their dominance and reak havoc like they have on the streets of Philadelphia all of their lives. The Gemini Trojans have been tearing up the East Coast in preperation for this match-up, including an incredible fight with former WWE Tag Team Champions, The Newage Outlaws!
In a recent poll on DCWPROWRESTLING.COM, the majority of votes on if the Trojans will retain their belts were directed in the "no" direction. Could this be an omen of things to come for the Gemini Trojans this Saturday night? Or will their year-long reign as DCW Tag Team Champions continue?~

~Christina Rivera, respected DCW Ambassador feels as if the fans, wrestlers and company itself has disrespected her and the International competitors within Dynamite Championship Wrestling. Because of this, she has decided to target the fan's most favorite wrestler, and No Limits Champion; "The Modern Day Rocker" Chris Wylde. Last month, her and Dragonly took Wylde to his limits in a 2-out-of-3-falls match that ended in Wylde getting the win with an incredible "Wylde Ryde" from the top rope. Dragonfly was to have removed his mask as it was the stipulation, until the lights went out and a mysterious voice revealed to have been watching Chris for a while now and that his time would soon come. Did Christina have anything to do with this? This month, she brings in International Irish sensation, CJ O' Doyle to face Wylde! Chris has been seen in the gym preparing vigorously for this match-up s he believes it could be his toughest to date.
CJ is no stranger to gold in the wrestling world, but has yet to ever face Chris Wylde in a one-on-one match. Christina will be in the corner of CJ as well. Could this spell the demise of Wylde's title reign? Will Rivera finally recieve what she wants? Will the mysterious voice come to fruition and reveal itself to Chris Wylde?~

Saturday night will not only be an opportunity for some to move up the card but also a chance for those more established stars to lose their spot. Let's look at the card.

2 man start the match and a new star enters every minute. The last man standing earns a spot in the 4 way dance for the AAW Heavyweight title on March 25th. With names like Boz, Thomaseli, Daniels, Jacobs, Botch, Trik Davis and Chandler McClure already announced this match will have huge implications on the AAW title picture.
Ace Steel vs. Eric Priest
Ace Steel makes his AAW debut and has requested his first match to be against Priest. These two men have quite a history and Priest is right now focused on Mike Venom and the AAW title. Overlooking a man of Steel's stature could be a costly mistake for Priest.

Stu Early and Machine (c) vs. The Michigan Invasion w/ Zach Gowen
Stu and Machine have had a surprisingly successful run with the tag titles but have never come up against a team like MII. N8 Mattson and Truth Martini have run wild since their debut and now look to solidify their place in AAW by winning the tag titles. AAW's odd couple have their work cut out for them this Saturday as they will also have to deal with Zach Gowen at ringside.
Lucha Libre invades AAW
"Gringo Loco" Tyme Paige vs. Charlie Manson Jr.
These two men tore the house down at AAW's show last weekend and now Paige looks to avenge his lose to Manson Jr. The AAW fans are in for a treat in this one as the high flying style of Lucha Libre makes it way to Berwyn.

Silas Young vs. Jason Dukes w/ Lucas
These two men have a long standing rivalry that spans all over the Midwest. Silas became an instant fan favorite last month showing incredible heart in his match against Danny Daniels only to have Dukes cost him the match. Young returned the favor later that night and cost Dukes and Bryce Benjamin the tag titles. Both men want title shots and what better way to prove they are worthy then at "Audition".

The excitement continues to build towards 1PW's ALL OR NOTHING weekend, Saturday March 4th and Sunday March 5th at the Dome Leisure Complex in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Preparations for the monumental weekend continue full-steam with everyone involved trying to make not just Saturday night's World Title tournament but also Sunday night's supershow (which includes the new 1PW champion making his first title defence against NWA World champion CHRISTIAN CAGE) and even Sunday afternoon's FanSlam into the best wrestling experience ever for the UK faithful.
Newsline spoke to 1PW capo STEVEN GAUNTLEY to get his feelings on the
upcoming weekend. The promoter was enthusiastic about how the events
were shaping up: "Next weekend is going to be a high point in my dream
of bringing the very best in British wrestling talent together with the very best talent from around the world. We're about to crown a champion, a standard bearer for our promotion. How could I not be excited?"
When asked about what's in store for the new champion, Gauntley was
eager to share a few secrets. "Well right off the bat, the new champion has to face Christian Cage. The belt will also be defended at May's “Know Your Enemy” weekend shows against an opponent or opponents to be determined. Plus there are a few high profile names, both British and foreign, that we're discussing offering title shots to. The action surrounding the World Title is going to be fierce right from the start. It’s going to be hard to win the title and even harder to keep it."

CORINO SITUATION INTENSIFIES
Ever since 1PW Newsline reported Steve Corino was forced out of his seed in the 1PW Heavyweight Title Tournament due to contractual obligations in Japan, there have been rumors regarding a very underhanded plot orchestrated by the Old School X leader to try to ensure the 1PW Title still ends up in his grasp sooner than later, despite not even being on the same continent during the tournament! Through a series of phone call records and investigative reporting throughout the 1PW office, we can confirm Mr. Corino seems to have a plan in place to have a significant impact on All or Nothing weekend. 1PW’s Joe Dombrowski is currently investigating the matter and hopes to be able to report more early next week.
1PW COMING SOON TO A TELEVISION NEAR YOU
1 Pro Wrestling is pleased to announce that it has signed a TV deal with the UK’s ‘The Wrestling Channel’ on Sky Channel 427. The deal comes just weeks before what is looking to be 1PW’s biggest show to date; All or Nothing, where an 8-man single elimination tournament will declare 1PW’s first ever World Champion.
Towards the end of March, TWC will air a 4-hour 1PW ‘Supercard Special’ featuring the stars of 1PW in all their glory, including highlights from previous 1PW events, including the crowning of the 1PW World Champion, as well as special guest interviews and exclusive promos. 1PW are looking forward to working with The Wrestling Channel, as both parties have expressed interest in the concept since 1PW’s debut show this past October. We at 1PW are excited about this latest deal, and are hoping to extend further on The Wrestling Channel during the remainder of the year, and definitely leading into 2007; but these developments depend on our loyal fans, as it is you, the fans, that make 1PW what it is today.
