Texas Superhero and Sci-Fi Collectors Convention this Saturday and Sunday
Wrestling fans have the chance to meet WWE superstar Mick Foley

Comic fans and sci-fi aficionados will want to be at the Texas Superhero & Sci-Fi Convention, this Saturday and Sunday, January 14 & 15, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in San Antonio, from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. The Crowne Plaza Hotel is located at 1111 NE Loop 410, near the San Antonio International Airport.

Admission to the event is $8. Fans of River City Wrestling, however, can print the special coupon off of the RCW Web site and receive $1 off admission. You can visit the RCW Web site at http://www.rcw-wrestling.com.
 
The convention will welcome WWE Superstar Mick Foley. Foley is a former WWE Champion and has competed under the monikers Mankind, Cactus Jack, and Dude Love. This is a special treat for all of the wrestling fans who reside in the Alamo City, and a true once in a lifetime opportunity.
 
River City Wrestling will also be on hand at this event. The wrestlers will be on hand to sign autographs. DVD's, t-shirts, and tickets will be available for purchase. RCW feels fortunate to be a part of this huge event and looks forward to future collaborations.
 
Collectors will also enjoy the many vendors who will be at the convention, sporting action figures and memorabilia of the most-well known and popular superheroes.
 
Another special guest at the event will be Edwin Neal from Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

River City Wrestling returns to the Hope of Glory Church on Saturday, January 28, 2006. The church is located at 339 W. Hutchins. The show begins at 7 p.m., and the doors open at 6:30. Admission is $5, whether in advance or at the door.
 
This is the fourth fundraiser held by RCW at the Hope of Glory Church. Thus far, RCW has brought in more than 500 spectators. Essential modifications and renovations to both the church and its recreation center have been made possible through the collaboration between RCW and the Hope of Glory Church.
 
Tickets for the first event of 2006 are now on sale.
 
Fans may purchase tickets at the Hope of Glory Church, or at the Arts of the Scholar Warrior Gym, located at 1126 W. Hildebrand, from Monday - Thursday, 8 - 10 p.m.
 
Appearing at the show will be the current RCW Champion known as the "300-pound Tex-Mex T-Rex" Hotstuff Hernandez, The Texas Treats (Don Juan & Chris Marval), The Nerdy Boys (Johnny Ender & Kris Kronie), Ikaika, Fast Eddie Vegas, "Mr. Beautiful" Rudy Russo, "One Man" Mike Dell, Spector, and much more.
