MICK FOLEY CONFIRMED FOR PWHF's NOVEMBER 5th DINNER !!!
 

NEW YORK - Mick Foley, also known as Mankind, is now a confirmed guest at the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum's (PWHF) November 5th fundraising dinner honoring Ted DiBiase, The Million Dollar Man.  Dinner organizer John Pantozzi was very pleased to make this announcement.

Foley, originally from Long Island, became a world wrestling champion as well as a best-selling author. His books have ranged from historical novels to children's books to his autobiography to his latest book on baseball.

Both DiBiase and Foley will be donating their time and celebrity to the not-for-profit PWHF, located in Amsterdam, New York. The PWHF seeks to honor the rich and colorful history of professional wrestling. 

The event will take place on Saturday, November 5, 2005 from 7:00 PM until 11:00 PM at the Lucky Fortune Restaurant, 3945 Amboy Road, Staten Island, New York 10308 (718 984-1120). A twenty-course Chinese buffet and soda will be provided in the ticket price of fifty-dollars ($50.00). Also included in the ticket price will be a souvenir program and the chance to purchase and bid on various wrestling memorabilia. Tickets will be very limited so please order early.

Pantozzi stated that this dinner will give fans a chance to meet and mingle not only with  DiBiase and Foley but also with other wrestling stars from past years.  To date, the following additional wrestlers have given their attendance confirmation: Captain Lou Albano with Rich Orenstein, Hillbilly Cousin Luke, Butcher Brannigan aka Joe Nova, Ray Apollo (Doink The Clown), Referee Billy Caputo, The Million Dollar Protege' Johnny Ova, Ted's Asst. Bobby Riedel, Melanie DiBiase (Ted's Wife), Irish Davey O'Hannon, Al "Samson" Vass, Tony Cosenza, Tom Townsend, Tito Torres, Young Stallion Jim Powers and Ida May Martinez, one of the stars of the recent movie, "Lipstick and Dynamite". "The King of Nostalgia", Joe Franklin, will also be in attendance. Joe is known nationally for his television and radio work.
