It’s time to hold out a helping hand…..
Former WCW/WWE wrestler Chris Kanyon was arrested and it saddens me to have to write this. Chris used to visit me when he was only about 15 years old. He lived in Sunnyside, NY and would come to my home in Astoria, NY just to talk about wrestling. He was a die hard fan.
Chris was arrested at 3:10 A.M. on October 16th. Chris was charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing and/or opposing an officer in Florida. He was released on $750 cash bond later that day ($250 for the first charge, $500 for the second charge). Here is his photo and arrest report. Individual's Charge Report

Chris posted a commentary on his official website, ChrisKanyon.net, talking about the fact that he suffers from manic depression and what he's going through dealing with the illness. Apparently, he has had some tough times since being let go by WWE in February 2004. He also talks about his return to the ring and thanks some friends. Read his commentary here: commentary2
Before anyone passes judgement on Chris, I have been told by some friends that Chris claims that the officer was very nasty upon arrival at the location.
Chris is scheduled to return to court on November 21st where it is likely that the case will ultimately close with Chris paying a fine without any jail time, or better yet the charges will be dropped. I'm going to get in touch with my friend, just so we can chat. Sometimes it helps to talk to a friend.......
