Commissioner Rich Ross Forms New Stable at IWF Fall Brawl Weekend:
Unlikely Quartet of Knight, Outlaw, Donavan & Blake Join Ross

(West Paterson, NJ)- In a shocking turn of events at the Independent Wrestling Federation's Fall Brawl Weekend, Commissioner Rich Ross assembled a new stable of grapplers to help propel him as wrestling's premiere manager.  Here's a complete recap of the happenings held September 24th and 25th at IWF Centre, West Paterson, NJ.

Fall Brawl Weekend day one on September 24th kicked off with new three-time IWF Junior Heavyweight Champion Dangerous Dan McGuire defeating former two-time champion Sean Royal in a Submission Match to retain the title.  McGuire regained the gold from Royal on September 18th at the Jersey Truck Fest in Medford, NJ, and turned away Royal's challenge in his first title defense.

IWF Tag Team Champions Biggie Biggs and Aaron Stride defeated former champions in Latin Revolution members Tony Torres and Antonio Rivera to retain the titles.  Biggs and Stride won the gold from Torres and Rivera on August 28th at Summer Sizzler and managed to deny their chance of regaining the straps.

In singles action, former American and Tag Team Champion Shawn Donavan conquered young rookie Nick Sabre.  Following the bout, Donavan was a guest in the Morrison Hotel interview segment with Robby Morrison.

In a Texas Death Match to settle their score once and for all, IWF American Champion Outlaw Shane O'Brien wrestled Kevin Knight to a no contest when referee Matt Bennett counted both men down for a 10-count.  After the bout, O'Brien extended his hand to Knight for a handshake out of respect after there wild brawl.  During the match, the Outlaw suffered a fractured bone in his left forearm.

In tag team action, the rookie duo of Justin Corino and Francis Flores defeated Bryan Harley and Jasin Karloff after Francis delivered a double-splash on both Harley and Karloff.

The main event pitted IWF Heavyweight Champion Damian Adams against Travis Blake in a best two-out-of-three falls match.  Prior to the contest, the men waged a war of words on the microphone with Adams stating he will defeat Blake and go on to become the greatest IWF Champion in history.  Blake scored the first fall via submission with the cloverleaf but Adams was able to rally and score the next two falls to retain the championship.  After the bout, Knight made his way to ringside and hit Adams in the face with the title belt then claimed he was the greatest IWF Champion in history.

Fall Brawl Weekend day two on September 25th saw IWF Junior Heavyweight Champion Dangerous Dan McGuire team with Nick Sabre to beat their rival duo of Sean Royal and Robby Morrison.

Commissioner Rich Ross hosted an interview with IWF Champion Damian Adams to apologize for the actions of Knight the previous evening.  Adams then demanded Ross make a match with he and Knight, even if it meant putting his title on the line.  Shane O'Brien, Shawn Donavan and Travis Blake interrupted with each man saying they deserved a title match.  During the argument, Ross inexplicably low-blowed Adams, Knight hit the ring, and all five men assaulted the champ.

In singles action, Tony Torres with Antonio Rivera defeated Roman by disqualification after Roman grew tired of the outside interference and struck Torres with this flagpole.

One-half of the Tag Champions Biggie Biggs scored an impressive victory with a win over longtime ring rival BoneCrusher Fred Sampson.

In a Handicap Match ordered by Commissioner Ross, IWF Heavyweight Champion Damian Adams defeated Shawn Donavan and Travis Blake by disqualification after a continuous double-team assault on the champ.  But the mission was accomplished as Donavan and Blake softened up Adams during the two-on-one encounter.

In singles action, the other half of the Tag Champions Aaron Stride defeated Antonio Rivera with Tony Torres after a doubleteam attempt by Latin Revolution backfired, enabling Stride to score the pin on Rivera.

In a special challenge match, Kevin Knight with Outlaw O'Brien and Commissioner Ross defeated rookie Justin Corino.  Halfway through the bout, Biggs and Stride stood in Corino's corner to even up the odds, but were attacked for the troubles by Donavan, Blake and O'Brien until Adams made the save and cleared the ring wielding a steel chair.
