RESULTS FROM NECW’s IRON 8 CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND

New England Championship Wrestling presented its 2nd Annual IRON 8 Championship Tournament on Friday night, October 14 and Saturday night, October 15 at the Framingham Civic League in Framingham, MA.

In a dramatic IRON 8 Championship Final match, "The Pinnacle" Paul Lombardi regained the NECW Heavyweight Championship defeating "Brutal" Bob Evans, Joe Chece and "Revolution" Chris Venom in a 4 way, 45 minute Ironman match.  The bout was tied at 4 falls for each man when the time limit expired.  A sudden death overtime period was called and Lombardi managed to pin "Revolution" Chris Venom with a roll up and a bridge in :59 of the overtime period.

 

There is also a new women's champion in NECW as Violet Flame defeated Natalia on Saturday night.
