UFC Mike Goldberg Turns Down WWE Offer

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that Mike Goldberg has decided to turn down the WWE offer and stay with UFC. At least that was the situation as of yesterday as he's been wrestling and fighting with his decision all week. It's really a mess of a situation now, as WWE has nobody at least for now in the spot, but it's so ridiculously public that they don't want Jim Ross as lead announcer any longer, and most likely he will still be calling the show until they can come up with another bad replacement.
Isn't this ironic, nobody was pleased with the decision in the first place. Now everything is up in the air.
I still don't understand why the WWE wouldn't just hire Joey Styles to replace JR, if they are so inclined to make a change.
At least he can call play by play and have it interesting.
It will be very interesting to see how this turns out.
