Bam Bam in accident, A first time for Bruno Sammartino, Bret Hart, FREE show and more

Bam Bam Bigelow and a female rider Janis Remiesiewicz were involved in a motorcycle accident in Florida on Sunday.  From reports we are getting now is that Bam Bam will survive, but it is touch and go for Janis.  Here is the newspaper article:
Update 3 PM - Just received word that Janis is out of the coma, and it looks like she will survive also.  Which is wonderful news.

October 6th, 2005, here in Philadelphia, “The Spirit of Columbus Award” will be presented to “The Living Legend” – Bruno Sammartino by Bill Bucci, President of Pennsylvania’s Sons of Italy Order. They are one of the largest groups with over 2,500 members statewide. Yes, you’re right I have already told you, he will be in the Columbus Day Parade, along with Frankie Avalon, Eddie Mecca (Laverne & Shirley), Joe Terranova (Danny & The Juniors), and a few more Philadelphia surprises. Happy Birthday B-R-U-N-O.
Since this article, I have found out more information.  Bruno Sammartino will turn 70 on October 6th, and will be celebrating his birthday with his family. The Award Dinner will take place on October 8th, and Bruno will be the Grand Marshall on October 9th in the Philadelphia Columbus Day Parade.
Bruno will also be the Grand Marshall in the Pittsburgh Thanksgiving Day Parade.
I also spoke to JAKKS Pacific and they informed me that Bruno Sammartino will have his very FIRST JAKKS figure in 2006.  Also approved are Nasty Boys, Steiners, IRS and more.
BTW - JAKKS is still looking for a phone number for Dynamite Kid.  We did get one number but it proved to not be any good.
