RESULTS FROM CWF MID-ATLANTIC TV TAPING HELD OCT. 1st IN BURLINGTON, NC

The following results are from the CWF Mid-Atlantic TV Taping held
Saturday, October 1st, at the Carolina Sports Arena located in
Burlington, NC. All bouts are sanctioned by the AWA, the American Wrestling Association.

1. Kamakazi Kid & Xsiris defeated Shaun Christian & Donnie Dollars
by pinfall (11:20)

2. Rising Generation League Champion Kid Justice and Ultra Dragon
went to a time limit draw, Kid Justice retains the title (10:00)

3. AWA Mid-Atlantic Television Champion "A Very Handsome Man" Mitch
Conner defeated "Rock 'N' Roll" Matty Dee by pinfall to retain the
title (7:19)

4. AWA Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Garry "Madd Trucker"
Stevens defeated "El Fuego" Jesse Ortega by pinfall to retain the
title (12:28)

5. 5th Annual CWF Rumble:  30 wrestlers entered with a future title
shot against any Mid-Atlantic Champion up for grabs to the
winner.  "Slick Diddy" Ric Converse, who drew #2, eliminated
Marcellus King to outlast the other 29 competitors to win the 2005
Rumble.

Officials: Charles Richardson, Katie Kincaid & Red Jones

*** NOTES:
Commissioner William L. Cross was out of town on official AWA
business, but did provide a video regarding the rumble.  Assistant
Commissioner Michael McAllister retrieved the rumble entry order
from ringside commentator Randolph Hedrick, opened the envelope, and
ripped the papers to shreds declaring he was going to redraw the
order entry in a "fair and unbiased" manner.

Gemini Kid then entered the ring to stop McAllister, stating that if
he was in the hospital, he couldn't change the order of entry.
Gemini went on to pummel McAllister around the ring, ripping off his
shirt, and locking him in the figure-four as the fans cheered their
approval.  Unfortunately for Gemini Kid, the recently fired Sean
Powers crept into the ring from behind and choked him out with his
Russian Chain until Jesse Ortega could help his mentor.

Instead of McAllister going to the hospital, it would be Gemini Kid
to have his neck examined, and McAllister would have Sean Powers
replace Gemini in the rumble.

Michael Yamaha caused quite a bit of destruction, sending Matty Dee
to the hospital as well.  Matty Dee surprisingly eliminated Yamaha,
who had been given the #30 entry in the rumble, which cause Yamaha
to lose it.  He re-entered the ring with a chair and beat Matty Dee
into a helpless heap with the metal chair!  Matty Dee's unconscious
body was then tossed over the top rope by Marcellus King leaving
only King and Converse to battle it out for the prize.

As the referees carried Matty Dee from ringside, Ric Converse
eliminated King to apparently win the 2005 Rumble, however no
referees were at ringside to see the elimination.  Yamaha once again
re-entered the ring and drilled Converse with the metal chair.
Marcellus King then returned to the ring before the referees could
see he was eliminated, and the bout continued as fans pleaded with
the referees that Converse had won it already.

It appeared that Converse was heading over the top to be eliminated
and ripped off yet another week, only to use a last burst of energy
and reveresed Marcellus King over the top, making the final
elimination, and becoming the official 2005 Rumble winner.

Converse will announce which Mid-Atlantic Championship he will be
challenging for in 2 weeks, live at the Carolina Sports Arena in
Burlington, NC, on October 15th.

Also scheduled for October 15th, the first ever "Trash Can Match" in
CWF Mid-Atlantic!  While in control at the Rumble, Michael
McAllister ordered a one-on-one match for the 15th against Gemini
Kid.  The only way to win is to dump your opponent in the trash
can... and Gemini Kid gets canned if he loses!!!

Commissior William L. Cross returns today and will surely be seeking
answers to the havoc that McAllister brought to the Carolina Sports
Arena this past Saturday night.  Expect some HUGE announcements in
the coming days!!!
