News on Raven, Funk, Recap WM 21 & Reckoning2, RVD, Taker and much more…
Rob Van Dam has been out of action since January with a serious knee injury, but he's been hard at work on the road to recovery. Aside from an appearance on ECW One Night Stand and RAW the night he was drafted, WWE fans haven't been able to see on RVD on TV. WWE.com caught up to Mr. Monday Night who shared his thoughts on his injury, his rehab, ECW and his future. To read: http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/rvdrecovery I understand RVD is very interested in wrestling against Shawn Michaels upon his return. I personally would love to see that match. Sounds like a 5 star match to me....
Note to Undertaker Fans: WWE 24/7 next month will have a Halloween theme titled "Undertaker's Ball."
TRISH RETURNS TO ACTION
- Toronto's own Trish Stratus returned to in-ring action on Friday in
Memphis, TN., after being sidelined since May of this year. Stratus who still holds the Women's title - competed against Victoria with
Candice Michelle as the referee. 2005 RAW Diva Search winner Ashley Massaro interfered on behalf of Stratus during the match, which could be an angle to be played on WWE television in the next few weeks. The next day in Jackson, TN., Stratus teamed up with Ashley to take on Victoria and Michelle. Credit: www.wwe.com
What ever happened to the old 30 day defend or lose the title rule???? I feel the reason this wasn't done, is because the WWE doesn't feel the Woman's title is important.

According to pwinsider.com: Former ECW champion The Sandman was to wrestle for the CWA promotion in Montreal, Quebec Canada on 9/2 but was detained by security after arriving at Pierre-Elliot Trudeau airport. Sandman arrived at 11:30 AM and was held until 4 PM that afternoon. In the end, he was turned away at the border and refused entry into the country, according to the promotion. CWA attempted to have their attorney get involved and have Sandman permitted into the country, but the border officials wouldn't budge. The promotion announced the issue immediately on their website, reducing ticket prices as a result of Sandman not appearing.
