WWE RAW Superstars Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, WWE Champion John Cena, Kurt Angle, Carlito, Matt Hardy, Candice Michelle and RAW announcer Jim Ross will be on-hand announcing WWE’s UNFORGIVEN Pay-Per-View event which comes to the Ford Center in Oklahoma City on Sunday, September 18.
This year’s UNFORGIVEN Pay-Per-View will feature WWE Champion John Cena defending his title against gold medalist Kurt Angle.
To give you some history and highlights on this astounding event, the first UNFORGIVEN Pay-Per-View event in 1998 featured Undertaker® defeating Kane® in an Inferno Match. In 1999, Triple H® defeated a number of Superstars in the Six-Pack Challenge to win the WWE Championship. In 2000, WWE Champion The Rock® defeated Chris Benoit®, Undertaker and Kane in a Fatal Fourway match. In 2001, fans witnessed Kurt Angle defeating Steve Austin® to become the new WWE Champion. At UNFORGIVEN in 2002, Trish Status® defeated Molly Holly™ to become the new Women’s Champion. In 2003, Kane defeated Shane McMahon™ in a Last Man Standing match and in 2004, fans witnessed Triple H defeating Randy Orton® to win back the World Heavyweight Championship.
