Will we ever see Defining Moment 2 packs? For example, HBK vs Bret Hart?

No.

You've answered about the possibility of having a mattycollector exclusive, can this figure be someone who would never ever get in the legends line, but still be cool to have a figure of, like an Aldo Montoya or Jean-Pierre Lafitte?

Not those choices no

You guys have done quite a lot since taking over the WWE line last year. Is there anything you set out to accomplish in the start but still haven't done yet or couldn't do due to some reason?

We share a lot of the same frustrations the collectors do. We want to do everyone, we want to make 100% accurate figures, We’d love to offer accessory packs, etc. etc. The realities of running a business and the decisions that we sometimes have to make don’t always mesh with our passion for the brand.

Keep in mind though that we are only 1 ½ years into this line and we have accomplished a lot your right!!

We’ve also got a long way to go and we intend to do a ton of cool stuff over the next 3 ½ years and beyond!!!

So, be patient and stick with us, we are trying like heck to give you the best WWE line possible.

1. Are there any plans on changing the material of some of the Legends hairs? Because wrestlers like Jimmy Snuka, Legends 4 Ultimate Warrior,Brian Pillman and Mr Perfect have really hard hair.

Yes. This is something we are trying to improve on.

10. (Non Wrestling Question) How did you guys get hired to work on the WWE line? because I wanna try to pursue toy design but more-so working for Mattel's WWE line.
You have to be really really good, and really really lucky, ask Bill he’ll tell you.
Thanks Mattel for being so interactive with this forum!

Did the 'quick turn around' PPV Basic series become too difficult to keep up with or just too repetitive?
we are still doing quick turns.
I haven't seen many new Flex Force releases recently. Is the line continuing?
Flex Force is selling very strong and will continue into 2012.
Can you throw us long suffering, often ridiculed, "they don't sell", Diva figure fans a clue as to who is the next Diva we will be seeing?

Listen, we will continue to include Divas in the line, you just won’t see new ones every month.

Hi guys, once again many thanks for taking the time to answer our questions.

At SDCC last year we saw one of the best figures to date with the WM 15 Undertaker. This year it's a free give away Rey Mysterio rumbler. Can you explain the reasoning behind such a drop off in quality. Thanks Mark

Frankly we did not sell very many SDCC exclusives last year and decided rather than spend a huge amount of effort for so little return we would not try to make money at this years event and offer a nice giveaway that everyone that visits our booth can take home for free. Personally I think That is a “quality” thing to do.

Is it likely that we will see a Bobby Heenan, or a Jimmy Hart in the legends line? How about a Jesse Ventura or Gorilla Monsoon. All four of these aforementioned characters were intregal in the history of WWE and where it is today. With the way you have handled scale. These would be VASTLY superior to their Jakks Classic releases

Hopefully we  will get to these guys

The Jakks wwe classics line brought stars from 70's - 90's period.

Will Legends line cover any specific decade period in particular?

Nope we want to cover as many eras as possible

Ok, heres a question I havent seen asked.

On the elite/legends shirts, the arms and the bottom of the shirt aren't hemmed(is that the right word?) like the neck of the shirt is. It can look really bad sometimes, like elite 7 cenas shirt. I know the original elite shirt's necks were also like this and then it was changed. Any plans to change the arms and the bottom of the shirt for the better? If not, is there a reason?

Do you feel that some stores are tredding on thin ice with their pricing?
i mean wrestlingworld are selling Elite 8 sheamus at £27.99 and as much as i would like to buy one, for someone who has just finished school, £30 for one figure is off the charts

Yes We do, TRU is doing it here and we feel it will dramatically hurt their business.

Who does the artwork for the Legends packaging? Is it an in house illustrator? It's awesome!

Yep our in house guys do it. They have won a couple of awards for our WWE packaging!!

Will the new Elite Punk have the Nexus armband? I realize it would be accurate, but it would also be unfortunate if that's the last Elite Punk we get.

Yes and yes

Will The Great Khali, Chris Masters, Daniel Bryan, or Ezekiel Jackson be getting Elite figures?

Thanks.

Not in the forseeable future.

I have noticed you guys have eluded to the Elite Scale Ring not being such a great seller. I was wondering what you suspect the problem might be. Personally, I think it is the best ring ever made and for the quality and size, the price of it is a steal. I can't see why it wouldn't be a mega hot seller.

We love it too, but not enough other people thought so,

Why would it be any different than international collectors getting the Screw over and over again, I was at TRU in Ontario, Canada last night and noticed the eites only have 2 figures on the back of the box. so mattel must know more about this, and canada never got legends 1 or 3 .

So Mattel, Why Does Canada only get 2 out of 6 of every elite series ?

Most of the international retailers do not want to carry a full line of figures. They don’t have the space. So they have made a conscious choice not to carry the full wave. There is nothing in our power we can do to change that. Unfortunately it makes international collectors lives very difficult. We would like that to change. But it seems unlikely.

Would you please make a spinning roulette wheel with match types on it?

So you can play wheel of fortune?
