Seminar/Tryout In Detroit Area With NXT Coach!
WWN is very excited to announce a first-time-ever WWN Seminar/Tryout will be May 20th in Livonia, MI. This will take place in the afternoon before the EVOLVE event that night. It will be at the same venue.
NXT Coach and British technical wrestling legend Robby Brookside will be a special guest. For the first time, Mr. Brookside will be an extensive in ring seminar on the techniques he has learned over his 30+ year career. You will learn something you never knew before.
We are now taking applications for this WWN Seminar/Tryout. It is open to all wrestlers, managers and referees who have completed a training course.
The WWN Seminar/Tryout is a learning experience and opportunity. In fact, we are very excited to announce that one participant will be selected to be an extra at a NXT TV Taping (provided you complete the requested documents and tasks necessary). Shane Mercer and John Silver have each had matches on NXT TV after being selected from the WWN Seminar/Tryout.
At least one participant from this WWN Seminar/Tryout will be selected to compete on EVOLVE 105 that evening. Over 50 talents have been discovered in a WWN Seminar/Tryout and booked on WWN Family events, including contracted wrestlers Darby Allin, Jason Kincaid and now NXT referee DA Brewer. You want in WWN and EVOLVE, this is the way.
The WWN Seminar/Tryout is also a comprehensive learning experience. You will be trained by co-head trainers Tracy Williams and Matt Riddle. These are the techniques that WWN officials are looking for in EVOLVE. You will leave a better wrestler.
In addition, WWN VP Of Talent Relations and WWE Creative Consultant Gabe Sapolsky will give an updated lecture on “how to get booked.” He will also explain his new “promo playbook” with the essential tools you need to be a great promo. This is the knowledge that will help your career.
Stokely Hathaway will give his must see social media lecture. These are the lessons that can make or break your career on the important social media platforms.
WWN Head Referee Brandon Tolle will give his extensive knowledge to referees.
All participants will be given a 5 minute tryout match. This will be taped in HD with multiple cameras. You can use this footage however you want to promote yourself.

Special Seminar/Tryout In Seattle!
WWN VP Of Talent Relations & Creative and WWE Creative Consultant Gabe Sapolsky is coming to Seattle, WA for a special one-time-only scouting and learning excursion. Info available here.
Sapolsky will hold a Seminar/Tryout in conjunction with 3-2-1 BATTLE! on Friday, July 6th at noon at Evolv Fitness, located at 1317 Republican St. in Seattle, WA.
Sapolsky is approaching 25 years in the pro wrestling business. He served as Paul Heyman’s personal assistant during the entire duration of ECW. Sapolsky then went on to co-found Ring Of Honor, where he served as head of creative and talent relations from 2002-2008. Sapolsky is also co-founder of EVOLVE and Dragon Gate USA. He currently books EVOLVE, WWN Supershow, Style Battle and works in the WWE system.
He will unselfishly share the lessons he has learned through the years from Paul Heyman and many others, including some of the top power brokers in the industry. The goal of this seminar/tryout is not to just provide an opportunity, but to make sure you leave a better performer.
This all day Seminar/Tryout is the only time Sapolsky will be in the great Pacific Northwest. The goal is to discover talent, become familiar with the local scene, educate on what it takes to be successful and evaluate talent for improvement. It is open to all wrestlers, referees and managers.
The Seminar/Tryout will consist of:
-Sapolsky’s new “How To Get Booked” lecture. Sapolsky shares as an independent wrestling promoter and booker what you need to do to get booked on top independents all the way to an opportunity in WWE. You will get the viewpoint of the people in charge. This will be an extensive lecture that covers numerous different topics.
-Sapolsky will share his “promo playbook” with the tools you need to improve your promos. In order to draw money, you need to cut promos that sell tickets. These are the lessons Sapolsky has learned from producing promos and working with the biggest names in the business.
-Sapolsky will also cover other topics like ring entrances, character development, social media protocal and what the most powerful players in the entire wrestling industry look for in talent.
-Each participant will get a tryout match. This is your chance to show your skills to the booker of EVOLVE, WWN Supershow, Style Battle and consultant to WWE. Sapolsky has discovered and booked over 50 talents on WWN Family brands and in NXT as extras in past WWN Seminar/Tryouts.
Several have even earned contracts! Seattle’s Darby Allin is an example of a talent discovered by Sapolsky in a Seminar/Tryout who is now a top EVOLVE competitor.
-Sapolsky will send each performer an evaluation on their strengths, weaknesses and what they need to improve on.
