Jakks promotes Padawer

MALIBU, Calif.—Jakks Pacific has promoted Jeremy Padawer to Executive Vice-President of Marketing for the company’s Jakks brands.

Padawer, formerly Senior Vice-President of Marketing for Boys Entertainment brands, will be responsible for product development, marketing, new business, intellectual property, and entertainment content development for Jakks, including Girls, Dolls, Activities, Preschool, Vehicles, Seasonal, Construction, Boys Entertainment, Electronics and Pets.

Padawer’s new role is not inclusive of Jakks’ Creative Designs International (CDI), Tollytots, KidsOnly! and Disguise divisions.

Padawer joined Jakks in 2003 after two years at Mattel. He’s credited with growing the toymaker’s Entertainment Brand Marketing Division worldwide, including business management and product development of all action figure and collectible brands. He began his toy business career in the mid-1990s, creating one of the first online networks for buying/selling collectibles and toy products.
