WWE Diva Ashley^™ Celebrate Wrestlemania^® 22 at TOYS “R” US TIMES SQUARE

First 500 Guests Who Purchase WWE Merchandise at The Center of the Toy Universe™ Will Attend Private Signing Event with WWE Superstars

WHAT:      On Thursday, March 23, Toys “R” Us Times Square steps into the ring to help New Yorkers celebrate WrestleMania 22, with an appearance by two of the biggest names in wrestling, WWE RAW Superstar Mick Foley and the winner of the 2005 RAW Diva Search, Ashley. 

One of the biggest names in professional wrestling, Mick Foley has been a mainstay of the WWE since 1996, wrestling under a variety of names including Mankind^™, Dude Love^™ and Cactus Jack^™, and regularly appeared with a sock puppet named Mr. Socko^™. A champion both in and out of the ring, Foley established himself with three WWE Heavyweight Championship wins, a World Tag Team Championship with The Rock^®, and a New York Times bestselling book, titled “Have a Nice Day: A Tale of Blood and Sweatsocks.”

Ashley, a relative newcomer to the WWE, leapt into the ring in 2005 after winning the RAW Diva Search contest.

Both Mick Foley and Ashley will attend a private signing event for Toys “R” Us Times Square customers who purchase WWE products worth $20 or more between March 2 and March 23, while supplies last. WrestleMania 22 will take place on April 2 in Chicago.

Also, wrestling fans can qualify for a Classic Superstar Limited Edition Figure with JAKKS Pacific’s national “Collect the WrestleMania® Ticket” Promotion. Fans can collect all 22 of the imitation WrestleMania tickets included in each of the Classic Superstars Series 9 and 10 action figures and mail-in to receive an exclusive figure. JAKKS’ popular Classic Superstar figures are based on the top superstar wrestlers from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Additional details are included on back of the packaging.
