To all the wrestling fans:
I just want to take a few minutes of your valuable time to let you know the promoters of the upcoming Capitol Wrestling Legends Fanfest have been kind enough to help again this year with my fund drive effort.
Most of you know that for the past eight years I have been working with Kid's At Risk in Georgia. For the past three years I have been working with a non-profit hospital, Inner Harbour. Our aim is to permit the kids we deal with an opportunity to receive treatment and to return to mainstream society as positive functioning members of the community. For many this is the last stop before jail.
Over the last two years, our fanfest charity raffles for my original ring-worn items have brought in over a thousand dollars. Thanks to you the fans, all of the money went to help out with the daily care of our kids.
This year I am offering two of my masks. Each mask will be signed by me following the raffle. Each item will be offered for a five dollar ticket. YOU HAVE TWO CHANCES TO WIN.
I will be taking pictures with fans on Friday afternoon, August 11, prior to the Question-and-Answer session later that night. One of the masks that we are offering is the same mask that I will be wearing on Friday. I'll be signing autographs on Saturday morning, August 12 and plan to wear the second mask on the Autograph Stage. The raffle itself will be at 5 p.m. Saturday. As was the case in previous years, ALL MONEY made from the raffle of the items will be donated to the general operating fund of INNER HARBOUR HOSPITAL, The Springs Campus in Rockmart, Georgia.
I hope to see you all at fanfest. Please stop by and visit with me and please help us out this year. Purchase a ticket, purchase two, any help will be greatly appreciated. To all that donated the past two years, thank you very much. I sincerely appreciate your giving. I hope this year will provide even better results.
