A POSSIBLE REASON WHY RAW RATING WAS LOW THIS WEEK

Just a theory….

Perhaps not news, as much as a theory.  The Tennessee-LSU football game Monday night on ESPN2, the home debut for the Tigers, drew a 3.2 rating.  I heard this on a radio show called SEC Conference Call.  According to them, it was the highest-rated college football game in the 12-year history of ESPN2.

When you consider this was a big game from the begining, it'd gotten bumped from Saturday due to Hurricane Rita, plus it being the first home game for the Tigers, as well as the national interest due to what Louisiana has been through, maybe it affected the rating.

Just a thought, may not be worth anything, but figured I'd share just in case.
