ANOTHER GREAT DAY FOR WXW AND SAMOAN TRAINING CENTER

Another Great Day for WXW and The Wild Samoan Training Center

Allentown, PA – January 10, 2006 – The front office of WXW are proud to announce that one half of the WXW Tag Team Champions, Supreme Lee Great, has been chosen for the second week in a row, to compete in a match on WWE programming.  SLG, wrestling under the name Jon Trosky, tagged with Billy Bax, in a match against WWE Superstars The Gymini’s.  The contest was taped for WWE Velocity, which will air on the WWE website on Friday, January 13. 

Last week, WXW Tag Team Champions, The Dynamic Sensation and Supreme Lee Great, were chosen to compete in a match on WWE Smackdown, against WWE Superstar Mark Henry.  The WXW Heavyweight Champion Puerto Rican Hurricane Havoc was also involved in a match against WWE Superstar Bobby Lashley on WWE Velocity and “Smooth” Tommy Suede took on WWE Superstar Sylvan in a dark match.

All four WXW stars who competed in the past two weeks are also graduates of the Wild Samoan Training Center, along with the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dave Batista and WWE Superstars Gene Snitsky, Rosey and Jamal. Other notable wrestlers and managers who have graduated the Wild Samoan Training Center are Yokozuna, Rikishi, Bam Bam Bigelow,  Billy Kidman, Chris Kanyon, The Great Samu, Mana, Tonga Kid, Sherri Martel, Virgil and ECW’s own Paul Heyman. 

Joining SLG at the Smackdown/Velocity tapings this week in Philadelphia, PA, were fellow WXW Stars “The Samoan Storm” Afa Jr., “Smooth” Tommy Suede, Doc Daniels and WXW CEO Afa “The Wild Samoan”, who all came to cheer him on.  The Wild Samoan was especially proud to watch another of his former students, get the opportunity to live out his dream working with the WWE.

The Wild Samoan Training Center and WXW would again like to thank Vince McMahon and his  WWE staff for giving Supreme Lee Great the opportunity of a lifetime.  Both of SLG’s matches were a chance for him to demonstrate his talent, in the hopes of securing a WWE developmental contract.  WXW would also like to remind viewers to tune in to Rage TV, which airs every Saturday on Blue Ridge Cable TV, Sunday on Service Electric Cable TV and via a free netcast on www.wxwwrestling.com.

WXW Star Supreme Lee Great wrestled under the moniker "George Trosky" during this week's WWE Velocity taping.  He wrestled as "Jon Trosky" during last week's Smackdown taping.  We apologize for the confusion.
