Thanks to Tony from Ohio for this report and photo's:
The Meet and Greet was great. Those wrestler that showed up were great, much better than some of the fans. Hogan is the man, signed every last fan. Morton and Dundee rocked as well. All wrestlers were more than willing to talk. Loved Slick.
The first match was Moondog Cujo vs. The Barbarian. Great match Cujo won but took a beatin'. A 2 x 4 was shattered into the 3rd row right in front of me.
The second match was Mr. Hughes vs. The Hammer. The Hammer won with a roll up. Hughes was chopped so hard in this one, a loogy was shot from his mouth straight to a beer in the first row, Classic.
Some of these matches may be out of order from here on....
Abdullah the Butcher vs. Green. A blood bath major!! Forks and broken bottles and a double count out.
KoKo and Bobby Eaton w/Slick vs. Dutch, Dundee and The Boogie Woogie Man. Dundee gets the pin. and a pier 6 breaks out and Slick gets a kiss from the BWM.
Brutus and Bubba vs. The Assasians. Bubba gets the 3 with a splash from the 2nd rope.
Brutus cuts the hair of their manager, Sal Corrente. After the match near the entrance Bubba and Brutus pull a little fan down and flex with him. CLASS ACT.
BUFF the Stuff vs. Brian Christopher. GREAT HEAT MATCH on Buff's part and Christopher is great with the fans and gets win. He loves the fans.
Ricky Morton and Kid Kash vs. 2Cool II the champs. NEW CHAMPS. Morton and Kash.
Jazz won the 3 way women's match in about 3 minutes.
Hogan slammed and leg dropped Paul Wight. GREAT MATCH and was a good length, maybe 20 minutes.
Great classic wrestling. Some fans in front of me were saying that WWE could sell this place out.
Well there was no stage or pyro and the fans were scattered. In my opinion they had around 6,000 and that is without half the arena taken for stage and ramp, just a ring.
Each match was great and the wrestlers were really working hard. The merchandise was flying off the shelf. Even after the show a good 20 minutes later there was still a line.
I'm sorry if I missed anything I'm still reelin' from Beale Street. I have attached some pictures.
