….

Thanks to Puya_99 for this report:
I didn't send out info about this wrestling autograph session that went
on today b/c I was out and about and I was reading a local paper. Within
the local paper there was a auto section which had 3 pictures of 3
former stars that were to appear at a local dealership in Westboro MA.
prior to a wrestling card in the area.
The signing was scheduled from 2-3 pm. It was to have:
Brutus the Barber
Beefacke, Tony Atlas and Jake the Snake Roberts.

I wasn't sure how this event was supposed to work. Whether it would be
free, have to purchase something and etc.
I got there about 45 min or so early. I figured there would be someone
people there ahead of me, but there wasn't. 5 minutes after 2 pm, a car
that included Jake and Tony arrived and behind the car was Brutus
driving in. They strolled in and took a look at the place. In the end,
this event was treated like an autograph session prior to a local event,
where the wrestlers plop out 8x10's of themselves and charge $10 per
8x10. They also were okay with signing you're own items w/out a fee
which was cool. Pictures w/ you're camera was also free, sweet deal.

In line from left to right on the table was Tony, Jake and Brutus.  I
approached Tony and asked for a 8x10 plus a picture w/ me on my camera.
He was fine w/ everything joked around about a local promotion in the
area that I had seen him last. Also he asked me about his new action
figure that was coming out "the good" one as he put it. He didn't know
when his Classic Figure is coming out apparently and he's wishing to
find out. (Maybe Tony wants his classic figure). After Tony posed for my
camera w/me, He proceeded to ask Brutus to get in the picture. Brutus
seemed okay but wasn't too thrilled as it looked.  I got an extra
picture of those two. Jake had gotten up and left to go outside for
unknown reasons.

Jake came back and I had him sign a 8x10 photo that he had, I got to take
a picture w/ him and he cracked a joke about not "pinching his ass" or
so I hoped.  Tony and Jake were good at this event, being funny and
cracking jokes.

Overall, when I was there, there was about 7 fans total who went to this
event when I was there. Employees of the dealership got some stuff
signed but while I was there I gathered about 7 people for this appearance.

Turnout was terrible.  It must have been because we didn't plug it.....   Georgie
