WITH PHOTO’S

I have to say I had a very fun experience at the TNA Lockdown Fanfest. Right off the bat, there was a sign saying Jim Cornette was also appearing, which I got really pumped for. I liked the 2 block setup for the signings. I was able to meet 18 different wrestlers over the 4 hour event. There was a little confusion about taking photos. though. Autographs were free ($5 for an 8x10), and Polaroids were $10. Personally, I much prefer taking a photo with my own digital camera over a polaroid that will degrade over time. Unfortunately, with a couple of exceptions (Road Dogg & Billy Gun, Samoa Joe), you had to buy the $10 polaroid ticket in order to take a photo with your own camera. For an event so geared toward the fans, I found this a little irritating. Although, I will say it was more the guy at the table taking the polaroids who usually enforced this policy. The wrestlers made up for this though, as they were all very cool. Highlights were: Samoa Joe (chatted with everyone), Hector Guerrero- (surprise guest, very humble, friendly), and Kevin Nash- huge fan personally, I actually was a couple people behind the previous guy, remember him pulling out the chair...great guy. Sting- brief encounter, long wait, but well worth it. Dixie Carter was also extremely friendly and outgoing, seeming genuinely interested when the fans were saying what they wanted to see. I have to say I can't wait until they have another one, I'll be there! I'm attaching a couple of photos from the event.
