Buffalo, NY (3/26/06) – Pier 6 Productions is pleased to announce that their second DVD release will be Ballpark Brawl™ IV – “fridaynightSMASH.” The show will be available at the official Ballpark Brawl website (http://www.ballparkbrawl.com/) beginning Friday, April 14th and through other independent wrestling web retail sites soon after.

“It was a hot night and a very hot show. It had a great mix of amazing in ring work with some of the top and soon to be top wrestlers in the nation and controversy regarding the Hart situation,” said Buffalo Bisons director Christopher Hill.

Pier 6 President Ryan Spencer added, “We have received tremendous response from the first release and are almost sold out of the run! Now we have to top that by providing even more value. The Ballpark Brawl IV DVD will include a fantastic show with amazing extras. In total 14 great matches and over four hours of in-ring action plus some very fun Easter eggs for our fans to find!”

AJ Styles vs. “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels

- Similar to Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat in the 80’s these two have battled across the country for years never disappointing fans. Now they arrive in Buffalo to battle for the NATURAL Heavyweight title. AJ won the belt after a brutal confrontation with Sabu and Teddy Hart at BPB III. Now he looks to keep the belt from his greatest rival. This time one pinfall will not be enough. But will that be the only stipulation to the match?

One final match…

CM Punk vs. Homicide
- In the most controversial matches of the night CM Punk was scheduled to face Teddy Hart for the first time since their well publicized incident in TNA. However, stuck at the border, there was no Teddy to be seen.  Punk thought he was going to have a nice easy day of it but a man from his past stepped up to make it a very long night for the soon to be WWE superstar. For the last time maybe forever CM Punk takes on Homicide!

6-Man “Futures” Match

Chris Sabin vs. Petey Williams (w/Scott D’Amore) vs. Roderick Strong vs. Jay Lethal vs. Sean Spears vs. Mastiff
- Six of the absolute top future talents in the sport squared off for a shot at the NATURAL title. TNA superstar and X-Division standout Chris Sabin renewed his rivalry with Team Canada captain Petey Williams. However, this time the Canadian Destroyer himself, Scott D’Amore, would be at ringside providing a definitive X-Factor. Could that distraction open up the possibility for future stars Roderick Strong (Master of the Backbreaker), Jay Lethal or Sean Spears (now WWE developmental wrestler) to take the victory? What about Mastiff? The local talent impressed Scott D’Amore enough during the afternoon wrestling clinic that he managed to get him in the match. Does the youngster have enough to provide the biggest upset in Ballpark Brawl history? One thing is for certain these high flyers give it their all with death defying moves and some of the loudest brutal chops seen in Western New York!

“The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes vs. Kid Kash

- Before making his jump to the WWE Kid Kash had a final score to settle with the man he walked out on in TNA, Dusty Rhodes. The American Dream was hardcore before hardcore was born and was determined to teach the young upstart a lesson. This was Kid Kash’s last independent match before jumping to the WWE. The bionic elbow vs. the money maker – the past verses the present – the legendary wrester vs. the legendary mouth!

Women’s Action

April Huner vs. Ariel
-The Amazonian queen of the ring, April Hunter has dominated the independent scene and specifically dominated Ariel. The young spitfire Ariel is looking to change her destiny and begin to write a new history between the two. Will Hunter’s domination continue? Will Ariel finally get the upset she has long sought after?

The Return of the Backseat Men to tag wrestling…

The Backseat Men vs. The Outcast Killaz
- It had been a year since they resigned from the independent tag scene on top. At Ballpark Brawl™ IV they reunited to take on the future of tag wrestling both in Western New York and beyond…The Outcast Killaz. Oman Toruga and Diablo Santiago plan to make the return of Trent Acid and Johnny Kashmere a painful one. One thing is for sure there was not any rust on the Backseat’s nor mercy from the Killaz in this hard hitting, high flying match up.  

A five minute challenge…

“Fabulous” John McChesney vs. Johnny Devine w/ Scott D’Amore
- After suffering a potentially life threatening attack Johnny Devine was out to prove that he was back. John McChesney looked to continue his amazing streak of victories. It would all come down to five minutes. Could McChesney last? The ending is one that no one saw coming. It was an Ultimate ending involving someone who was about to strike out on his own.  

The Western New York Gauntlet

Abyss w/Hellcat vs. “Slyck” Wagner Brown w/April Hunter
- The SWB was very vocal about his distain for Western New York and came out with an open challenge. While he had some success early he did not count on the Western New York return of the powerhouse monster known as Abyss. What other tricks would his manager Hellcat have up his sleeve and what would happen if April got in the way of those plans?

Now you will get to see why Western New York is quickly becoming the epicenter of pro-wrestling. You will get to see stars from NWA Upstate, Empire State Wrestling and Neo Spirit Pro-Wrestling. NWA Upstate (Rochester,New York)

Kevin Dunn vs. Dicky Sanchez (NWA Upstate No Limits Title) - Kevin Dunn makes his first No-Limits Title Defense against one of the 3 competitors he beat for the inaugural No Limits Title, Dicky Sanchez.  In the previous 4-way, Dunn brutalized Sanchez with his strong style, and much to the surprise of everyone, Sanchez kept coming back for more, leading to this match for the title, in which Tables are deemed Legal.  With his mother at ringside, can Sanchez overcome Dunn's brutal offense and the fair use of tables?

Outcast Killers & Hellcat vs. Chip Stetson & JP Black tag match (Retirement Match) -  Announced as the retirement match for Chip Stetson, and taking place at the soon to be demolished, Rochester Wrestling Mecca, the Ukrainian Club, turns into a 3on2 handicap match when Upstate Owner and arch nemesis of Chip Stetson, Hellcat inserts himself into the match.  Hellcats' return to the ring can be only an omen of disaster for Stetson.  All 5 men in this match are veterans of the now-defunct New Millennium Wrestling (2000 - 2002) which ran matches in this very same building.

Empire State Wrestling (Buffalo,New York)

Jonny Puma vs. Mastiff (ESW Heavyweight Title) - The culmination of a yearlong feud over the Empire State Wrestling heavyweight title, champion Mastiff puts it all on the line 

in a match against former ESW champion Jonny Puma. Things quickly take a hardcore turn and even special guest referee, Pro Wrestling Illustrated Senior Writer and then-ESW 

commissioner Dan Murphy, is unable to keep order.

Mastiff, Damien Alexander and “The Sexy Monkey” Robin Knightwing vs. Wrestling Incorporated (Chris Cooper, Benjamin Smythe & Brandon Thurston) - Former ESW Heavyweight Champion Mastiff enlists the aid of Damien Alexander and the Sexy Monkey to take on rival Chris Cooper and his team of Wrestling Incorporated.  Tired of the constant interference of Smythe & Thurston, this 6-man match was made to even the playing field.  But can even the combined strength of Mastiff's team overcome the chicanery and (illegal) teamwork of Wrestling Inc.?

NEO Spirit Pro Wrestling (Ontario, Canada)

Crazy Steve vs. Cody Steele (NSP Grand Independent championship) – Cody Steele, fresh off his recent WWE Smackdown appearance where, in his words, "he took Kurt Angle to the limit", makes his first Grand Independent Championship defense against fan favorite Crazy Steve.  But can Cody Steele concentrate on Crazy Steve when his former trainer and champ "Dangerboy" Derek Wylde is on his trail every step of the way?  And, will the unorthodox Crazy Steve find a way to out-mind game the champ? It's an impromptu match with an unexpected finish, It's True, It's True!

WrestleVision

The winter of 2005 saw some of the top local wrestling minds in search of ways to improve the UPN weekly television show WrestleVision. Can Pro Wrestling Illustrated Senior Writer Dan Murphy, local wrestling broadcast legend Ivan the Impaler or Ballpark Brawl architect Christopher Hill come up with ideas that will pass host Scott Bender’s stringent requirements? Or will all of their collective ego’s implode in a narcissistic quagmire of glory hunting? Join the show clips as they search for the naked truth!
