From Karl Lauer (CAC) to Dr. Mike Lano:
"I just got off the phone with Donnie Valentine (former wrestler, who worked as The Mummy after Benji Ramirez, and later as The Falcon in Mexico) That at 1:40 pm today the legendary BULL RAMOS passed away from a massive infection in his shoulder that poisoned his system. The doctors told the family that there was no hope and he passed within a minute or two after removing the breathing tube.
Bull Ramos was a mid-card heel from Los Angeles when he showed up in WWWF-land for a brief feud with Bruno Sammartino... He worked the main event against Bruno at the old Madison Square Garden.. Then again against Bruno at the first wrestling card at the new Madison Square Garden...
Bull Ramos later worked for Don Owen's Pacific Northwest promotion and had a long feud with Dutch Savage..
Bull Ramos reportedly had his leg amputated a few years back as a result of the effects of diabetes..
Bull Ramos was now blind and living due to kidney dialysis three times per week..
Our sincere condolences and sympathy to the family, friends and fans of Bull Ramos...
