It's Christmas Eve and the Wrestling Epicenter is here to wish you Seasons Beatings!

Wrestling Epicenter has a special Christmas Special show available for download right now at http://www.WrestlingEpicenter.com  with some rather surprising special guests.

First, former WWE superstar "The Genius" Lanny Poffo stops by to perform "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" from start to finish complete with song! Ah, that should put you in a wrestling Christmas mood!

And then, straight from the WWE and now a TNA wrestling superstar, "Captain Charisma" Christian Cage stops by to talk everything from his departure from the WWE to his reasoning for going to TNA and the potential of seeing more stars go to TNA from the WWE. It's a great first half of our 2 part interview with Christian with part 2 airing in 2006 when we return live to "The Blaze" 1260 AM!

Download the complete Christmas special now complete with funny Christmas parodies and Bill Cosby and Elmo determining who was this week's "Worker of the Week" right now at http://www.WrestlingEpicenter.com

Christian Cage

-- Christian joins the show. James and Brendon thank him for taking time out of his busy schedule this holiday season to join them. Christian says it is no problem.

-- Christian feels his time in TNA is "so far, so good." He feels he is getting a chance and given the opportunity, he would do the same thing again and leave the WWE.

-- James mentions that the style TNA is noted for is the high flying X Division style and while Christian isn't an X Division wrestler, he is known for flying around in matches such as TLC matches. Christian agrees but repeats that he doesn't consider himself a true high flyer like the X Division guys. He feels his style is different but does have the ability to take a big bump every now and again. He then puts over the X Division.

-- James puts over the reaction Christian got in Madison Square Garden with Vince McMahon standing in the ring with him and asked if Christian thought that would result in a push. Christian says he did think so and that the promo he cut that night was simply a 100% shoot in terms of how he was feeling that night. He was pleased that the crowd was on his side and cites that this was the first time he took a shot at John Cena and the crowd seemed to really want to see them go at it.

-- Why didn't he and Cena hook it up in a longer term feud? Christian says he has "no idea." In fact, he's as curious as to why as everyone else who asks him that.

-- James says that he feels seeing Christian lose to "Father Time" Ric Flair really might have stunted Christian's growth in popularity before his jump to SmackDown. Christian disagrees saying, "Working with Ric, a guy like that, probably helped me more than hurt me."

-- How did the WWE respond when he decided to leave and not sign the new contract? Christian feels they were pretty surprised. He doesn't believe the WWE even entertained the thought that he would not sign again.

-- Christian had seen a bit of TNA in the past and would try to catch it on Friday afternoons on FSN but it was usually about 10% of the time that he'd actually catch it because the time slot was so hard to follow. When they got on Spike TV, Christian really took more notice in getting familiar with the product. And, he's there now so obviously he liked it.

-- As Christian said above, he's the first to jump from WWE to TNA. But, are more on the way? Say Jericho or maybe Benoit? "Jericho's kind of doing his own thing right now," says Christian. And as for Benoit? Christian says he hasn't spoken with Benoit but he wouldn't rule anything out. He also says that'd be great for TNA.

-- A confirmed star TNA will have in 2006 is Sting. Christian says he's been lucky enough to work with some of the legends of the business like The Undertaker, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, The Rock, and so forth and he's looking forward to teaming with Sting in TNA.

-- In part 2 of our interview with Christian, we will cover such material as his dream match, the legal rights to the name "Captain Charisma," the addition of the Eddie Guerrero famed frog splash to Christian's move set, and Christian will attempt to do his fantastic impression of the Ultimate Warrior as seen on the Self Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior in stores now!

-- I'd like to thank TNA Wrestling for helping us speak with Christian Cage. Be sure and check them out Christmas Eve at 11 p.m. EST as they celebrate Christmas with true Seasons Beatings as well as New Years Eve with 2 great shows and the first wrestling match of 2006 on SPike TV!
