And a statement from Mason Raige…..

Thanks to Mike Informer for this news from Slam Sports:
Cowboy Bob Yuma passed away Tuesday at the age of 54 after suffering many years from lung disease. He and his wife Alicia resided in Arizona. Yuma (Frankie Vaughn) was trained by Tito Montez and broke into the wrestling business in 1973/74, and after his tour of the Pacific Northwest ventured to Arizona where he held many regional championships.

A Statement from Mason Raige
As a result of my commitment to Ohio Valley Wrestling in Louisville, Kentucky, I am not able to defend the NYWC Heavyweight Championship the way a title is deserved to be defended.  Rather than serve as a part-time champion, I am choosing to relinquish the title effective immediately.
I wish the NYWC nothing but the best, and I hope to return there sometime soon.  I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the NYWC fans for all of their encouragement and support.  Working in front of you has been a distinct honor.  Thank you for your loyalty.
      Strongly,        Mason Raige
