Big Show vs. Sabu, Extreme Rules for the ECW title. There were tables and chairs used, Show won using a table..
Show's match was first so he could get to RAW in Atlantic City.
Balls Mahoney defeated Rene Dupree.
The FBI defeated Neikirk & O'Reilly
Kevin Thorn with Ariel defeated Stevie Richards.
Francine vs. Kelly Kelly in an Extreme Vixen Bikini contest. Francine was mad at crowd for cheering Kelly and made gestures that Kelly had a big butt. Kelly won with her thong bikini. Francine attacked Roberts and then Kelly. Francine asked the crowd if she should rip off Kelly's top, which brought out Mike Knox who lost to the Sandman.
CM Punk beat Matt Striker
Test defeated Tommy Dreamer
RVD beat Hardcore Holly. After the match, Knox and Test ran in and Sandman and Dreamer made the save.
Just some quick notes:
Sabu, Sandman, Balls Mahoney, Francine came out TWICE to sign autographs. Sabu and Sandman are two of the nicest guys in ECW...Balls hung out with the fans a lot before and after the show, very friendly.
Tommy Dreamer checked in and also came back out to sign.
Hardcore Holly even signed which is rare.
Big Show travels in a small private bus and just went into the arena
Arena was pretty much half full, max capacity is 3,000, there were a few sections almost completely empty.
Sandman got the biggest pop, drank beer and smoked a cig throughout the whole crowd
Tommy Dreamer got another huge pop and gave a nice speech about the history of the WWE in the Civic Center and even said WW(F) tapings used to tape here every month. He did say the F not E which was surprising
For such a religious man Ted Dibiase claims to be, he could be a little nicer to the fans.
All in all was a decent show. Nothing spectacular happened. Basically the same show as all the others, bikini match, etc.
