What a tremendous EVOLVE weekend!!! It all leads to Detroit and Chicago. Let’s get to it….
Thank You: The entire EVOLVE promotion wants to extend our deepest “thank you” to all the fans who sold out La Boom last Saturday and were part of one of the biggest crowds in EVOLVE history in New England last Sunday. EVOLVE returns to Melrose, MA on June 12th and Queens, NY on June 13th. Tickets are now on sale at Etix.com.
EVOLVE Title Match Signed: Josh Briggs will defend the EVOLVE Championship vs. AR Fox on March 14th in Livonia, MI. Fox defeated Briggs in a non-title match last Sunday to earn the shot. Fox is the EVOLVE Icon. He was the first EVOLVE Champion. Can he become the first two-time EVOLVE Champion? Tickets are now on sale at Etix.com.
Vink vs. Drake: Things got ugly between JD Drake and Brendan Vink last weekend. It will be Drake vs. Vink in a rematch of EVOLVE 145 when EVOLVE returns to the Detroit area on March 14th!
EVOLVE Championship Match Challenge: A unique match has been signed for EVOLVE 148 on March 15th in Chicago, IL. EVOLVE Champion Josh Briggs wants to raise the prestige of the EVOLVE Title. He asked for the “hot” indie talent to come challenge him. Alex Zayne, Dan The Dad and Blake Christian responded. They will all clash in a Fatal Four Way with these stipulations:
-If anyone pins or submits Briggs, they are the new EVOLVE Champion.
-If any combination of Christian, Dan The Dad or Zayne defeat each other, then the winner will get a singles match for the EVOLVE Title on a future show.
-If Briggs loses the championship at EVOLVE 147, this match will determine the #1 contender.

Stallion vs. Atlas: Curt Stallion made it very clear he wants Jake Atlas one-on-one after last Sunday’s Triple Threat Match. He’ll get it. Atlas was quick to accept the challenge. It’ll be Stallion vs. Atlas in Chicago on March 14th.
Congrats To Beckie Phillips: We are very happy to announce that referee Beckie Phillips has been hired full-time by EVOLVE. She was discovered in an EVOLVE Seminar/Tryout. Her hard work, in ring ability and great attitude earned her the job.
ATTN: WRESTLERS, REFEREES, MANAGERS & ANNOUNCERS: The most comprehensive EVOVLE Seminar/Tryout experience and opportunity in the Midwest is coming to Detroit on March 14th and Chicago on March 15th. The Chicago one is a must for every wrestler of any experience level as NXT Finishing Coach and Producer Terry Taylor will be the special guest. Tag Title Match at WRESTLExpo: BESTies In The World of Davey Vega & Mat Fitchett will defend the EVOLVE Tag Team Titles at EVOLVE 148 on March 14th in Chicago in a Triple Threat Match vs. former champions AR Fox & Leon Ruff vs. Adrian Alanis & Liam Gray. The winners of this match will defend the EVOLVE Tag Team Championship at EVOLVE 149 on Thursday, April 2nd in Tampa, FL as part of WRESTLExpo.
Timothy Thatcher at EVOLVE 149: Former EVOVLE Champion Timothy Thatcher will return at EVOLVE 149 in Tampa as part of WRESTLExpo. EVOLVE officials are currently finalizing a list of possible names for Thatcher to wrestle. Stay tuned.
Street Profits Make History: Congrats To Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford, The Street Profits, for winning the WWE Raw Tag Team Titles last night. The Street Profits are now the only team to have held the EVOLVE, NXT and WWE Raw Tag Team Championships. Congrats, guys!
